Tomintoul Tarn Peated Speyside Single Malt Whisky 1.0L 40% Highland Whisky The Tomintoul distillery was founded in 1964 in the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland by W & S Strong and Hay & MacLeod. It is named after the nearby, highest town of the same name, Tomintoul. After being sold to White & Mackay in 1973, the distillery was expanded from one to two stills. Today the distillery belongs to Angus Dundee Distillers. Tarn Tomintoul whisky is characterized by its special altitude and the fresh spring water used in its production. This spring water comes from very special 'collection basins'. Due to ongoing glacier movements in the mountains of the Cairngorms, new, small mountain lakes are constantly being created that serve as reservoirs for the spring water. These basins are called 'Tjorn' in Old Norse, from which the name Tarns derives. The area surrounding the Tarns also has a particular influence on the taste of the Tomintoul Tarn Peated Speyside Single Malt. Most of these reservoirs are surrounded by centuries-old peat, which naturally leaves its taste traces in the water. The taste is full-bodied, pleasantly sweet whisky with clear peat notes. Fruity undertones accompanied by gentle vanilla round off the fantastic taste.

Glenfarclas Single Malt Whisky 8 years 0.7L 40% Glenfarclas Glenfarclas is also a single malt distillery from Scotland. It is located in Ballindalloch, Moray and whisky has been produced here with an official license since 1844. It was founded by Robert Hay, who later sold the distillery to John Grant. The distillery is still owned by the Grant family today. Glenfarclas 8 years Despite a short maturation period of just 8 years, the single malt impresses with quite intense aromas. It was matured in sherry casks, which have also had an influence on the whisky. On the nose you initially notice notes of ripe fruit, almond aroma and a light raisin sweetness. Balvenie 15 Years Madeira Cask Finished Single Malt Whisky 0.7L 43% (Excluding GB) Balvenie Distillery The single malt distillery was founded in 1892 by J. Grant and is still owned by William Grant & Sons Ltd. The distillery can still be found today in Dufftown, Scotland, below the Glenfiddich distillery. When the distillery was founded, used stills from Lagavulin and others were used for cost reasons. This worked well until 1957, but then demand grew and the number of stills was increased from two to four. Today, the distillery has an impressive nine stills. 15 Years Madeira Cask Finished For this bottling, barrels that had previously been used to store sweet Madeira wine were chosen for the maturation process. These now pass on the sweet wine notes that have passed into the wood to the whisky, refining it with sweet fruit notes. These are reminiscent of dark currants and blackberries and are rounded off with notes of fresh orange, roasted nuts and oak.

Bowmore Islay Single Malt Whisky 30 Years 0.7L 45.1% The Bowmore Whisky Distillery The distillery, which is now owned by the Japanese-American company Beam-Suntory and is based on the Islay Island in Scotland, was founded in 1779. The founding father is David Simson, who named the distillery after the town of the same name, Bowmore, and opened the first legal distillery on Islay, the Bowmore Distillery. 30 Years Single Malt The Islay Single Malt was already distilled in the last century, namely in 1989. Ailsa Bay Sweet Smoke Release 1.2 Single Malt Whisky with Glass 0.7L 48.9% Ailsa Bay Distillery In 2007, another distillery was built on the site of the Girvan distillery. This is the 'Ailsa Bay Distillery', which is now presenting its second bottling. It produces whisky using the so-called 'micro-maturation process'. This means that the so-called pipe spirit is first filled into small Hudson Baby Bourbon barrels with a capacity of 25-100 liters before being transferred to first and second fill barrels made of American white oak for a further year. Micro-Maturation Series The new bottling is Release 1.2 Sweet Smoke, which is a shade smokier and also sweeter than its predecessor. The aroma offers notes of fresh wood smoke, sweet oak, a hint of vanilla and heather. On the palate, the notes of vanilla and oak become significantly more intense. As expected, there are significantly more intense smoky notes and the aroma of caramel compared to its predecessor.

The Balvenie The Creation of a Classic Single Malt Scotch Whisky 0.7L 43% The Balvenie Distillerie The whisky distillery based in Dufftown, Banffshire, Scotland has been producing single malt Scotch whisky since 1892. The Balvenie was founded by none other than William J. Grant, who also founded Glenfiddich, and is located not far from it. In order to save costs, The Balvenie initially used used stills from the Lagavulin and Glen Albyn distilleries; today the distillery has a total of nine stills. David Stewart, who produced for both Glenfiddich and The Balvenie, was responsible for this. The Creation of a Classic Single Malt – the original cask finish With the words 'Probably the finest Highland malt whisky', David C. Stewart MBE once presented the first The Balvenie Classic Single Malt. For the first time, a single malt that had initially been stored in traditional oak casks was filled into Orloroso sherry casks for a finish. Stewart was thus pioneering work in finishing in a wide variety of wooden casks. The taste Firstly, you notice notes of vanilla and a variety of spices on the nose. Fettercairn 28 Year Old Single Malt Whisky 0.7L 42% Fettercairn Based in the eastern Highlands of Scotland, whisky has been produced under an official license at the eponymous location since 1824. Like most distilleries that have existed for such a long time, Fettercairn has a very turbulent history, in which the distillery had to be rebuilt after a fire, had to be temporarily closed after a low point in 1926 and a new high in the mid-1960s, as well as perseverance during a new economic crisis in the 1980s. Fettercairn 28 Year Old Single Malt Whisky The 28 year old single malt is matured exclusively in American bourbon barrels. The aroma offers sweet and fruity notes at the same time. Fruity parts are reminiscent of pineapple and melon, the sweetness is reminiscent of a syrup. These aromas are accompanied by light ginger spice and licorice notes. On the palate, a full, very well-balanced whisky develops, the aroma of which is now characterized by citrus notes and a hint of spicy black pepper. Aromas of roasted nuts, apricots and a hint of vanilla linger in the background. The finish is rather medium-long and is reminiscent of notes of coffee and sweet balsamic vinegar.

Fettercairn 22 Year Old Single Malt Whisky 0.7L 47% Fettercairn 22 Year Old Single Malt Whisky The Fettercairn 22 Year Old matured exclusively in traditional bourbon barrels from America, so that the soft aromas for which Fettercairn is known combine wonderfully. It is not only a welcome aged product for whisky beginners, but also convinces the fine palates of those whisky lovers who like a harmonious play of aromas. Aromas At first, the 22-year-old whisky impresses with the aroma of dried fruit, sweet and sour green apple and notes of freshly baked cake.
