St. George Breaking & Entering American Whiskey 0.7L 43% Of pear brandy and bourbon Bourbon is to the USA as currywurst is to Berlin. Many distilleries have therefore specialised in this whiskey made from corn and have not produced any other product for generations. This is different at St. George Spirits. This distillery was only founded in 1982 and its success is based on a completely different product: fruit brandy! The founder, Jörg Rupf, knew the production process for this product in detail from his home in the Black Forest and decided to introduce Americans to traditionally produced European eau-de-vies. Jörg Rupf was successful in expanding the production area from a small 250 L pot still to a production space of over 6,000 m², starting with a single pear brandy! The production of St. George Breaking & Entering American Whiskey Enthusiastic about his skills, many customers repeatedly asked for a bourbon whiskey. After all, anyone who produces such good spirits as Jörg Rupf must also be able to produce good bourbon whiskey. Knowing that good bourbon whiskey needs a lot of storage time and even more experience in production, St. George decided to go a slightly different route. They bought barrels from the best bourbon distilleries in Kentucky. Yes, the St. George Breaking & Entering American Whiskey is a blend of products from other distilleries. And at St. George they are very open about it, which we think is great. Because that's how you build trust with your customers and can also offer them an excellent product - even if it doesn't come from your own stills for once. The two current master distillers at St. George - Lance Winters and Dave Smith - have already gained some experience in blending whiskey and thought about which of their favorite bourbons they would like to combine. Thanks to good contacts in the industry, they were able to buy up almost 400 barrels of bourbon whiskey that was aged between 5 and 8 years. The result is a bourbon that is more than the sum of its parts. The St. George Breaking & Entering American Whiskey. The taste of the St. George Breaking & Entering American Whiskey, highly praised by renowned magazines such as GQ, Forbes, Wine Enthusiast and Whisky Advocate, it seems that a lot of things went right when blending the Breaking & Entering American Whiskey. And this not-too-sweet whiskey is actually convincing with spicy and complex aromas of banana, butter, maple, cinnamon and cloves. Some connoisseurs refer to the Breaking & Entering as "breakfast bourbon". We don't really care when you drink it. But you should definitely try the Breaking & Entering American Whiskey. It's worth it - promised.

Knob Creek Bourbon Whiskey 9 years 0.7L 50% The history of Knob Creek Bourbon Whiskey This exceptional bourbon takes its name from the small river Knob Creek, which gave its name to a small settlement near Bardstown. This place is closely linked to American history, as Abraham Lincoln spent part of his childhood here. Knob Creek Kentucky Straight Bourbon is part of the well-known small batch series from American Brands and is produced by the Jim Beam Distilleries in Clermont. Knob Creek Bourbon was created by the well-known master distiller Booker Noe, who wanted to revive the taste of bourbon whiskeys before Prohibition. Before the start of Prohibition in 1919, American whiskeys were stored for much longer and therefore had a more intense flavor than today's bottlings. The production of Knob Creek Bourbon Whiskey The secret to producing Knob Creek is that every step of the production process tries to adhere to the standards of the time before Prohibition. For example, the grain mix for the mash is blended in the pre-Prohibition style and stored for at least nine years in extremely charred oak barrels. This gives Knob Creek an incredible aroma that sets it apart from standard bourbons. The only addition that Knob Creek Bourbon Whiskey receives after barrel storage is water. It is diluted to 50% ABV with pure spring water. diluted and is therefore significantly stronger than regular bourbons. The taste of Knob Creek Bourbon Whiskey The nine-year storage makes Knob Creek robust and complex and gives it a color reminiscent of copper and medium amber. Aromas of roasted nuts, grains and oak on the nose. On the palate, Knob Creek Bourbon Whiskey is intense and sweet, with a full body, paired with fruity notes, vanilla and classic bourbon aromas. The aftertaste of Knob Creek Bourbon Whiskey is very glowing, long and intense.

Evan Williams Bourbon Whiskey 1L 43% About Evan Williams Bourbon Whiskey Evan Williams Bourbon Whiskey is the second best-selling whiskey in the USA and is produced in the Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown/Kentucky. Evan Williams Bourbon Whiskey came onto the market in the 1960s and is named after the whiskey pioneer Evan Williams. He was the first commercial distiller in Kentucky and registered his craft in 1783. The recipe for today's Evan Williams Bourbon Whiskey supposedly dates back to that time. Evan Williams had to stop producing bourbon whiskey after about 20 years because his neighbors felt harassed and forced him to give up. The neighbors may not have liked the production of Evan Williams' bourbon whiskey, but the members of the "Board of Trustees" liked it all the more. Evan Williams was also active there and made the sessions more bearable for all participants with his bourbon whiskey. Evan Williams Bourbon Whiskey is in line with other well-known whiskey brands from Heaven Hill, such as Elijah Craig and Henry McKenna, which are also named after bourbon whiskey pioneers, but is by far the most successful whiskey in this series. The production of Evan Williams Bourbon Whiskey Evan Williams Bourbon Whiskey is a very traditional bourbon whiskey, which is largely produced using the same complex methods as around 1783. This means that the mash is produced using the sour mash process and the subsequent fermentation uses a yeast strain that has been in the family for 7 (!) generations. The subsequent distillation takes place in copper column stills that are over 20 meters high, producing a distillate with a strength of 68 - 70% vol. The Evan Williams Bourbon Whiskey is then diluted with spring water from the region to a cask strength of 62.5% vol. and filled into charred new barrels made of American white oak to mature for 4-20 years. After the maturation process is complete, the Evan Williams Bourbon Whiskey is bottled at a strong 43% vol. The master distillers of the Evan Williams Bourbon are Parker and Craig Beam - no strangers in the bourbon whiskey industry... The taste of the Evan Williams Bourbon Whiskey In the color of strong amber yellow, Evan Williams Bourbon Whiskey offers complex, sweet caramel candy, vanilla and peppermint on the nose. Light and balanced in body, notes of spicy, sweet vanilla, toasted oak and toffee dominate. Evan Williams offers a bourbon with a good price/performance ratio and is ideal for entry into the bourbon whiskey segment. Caramel and light fruit notes paired with subtle spiciness.

Bourbon Whiskey – The American Way of Corn!
Jim Beam, Jack Daniel’s, Wild Turkey, and Elijah Craig: the list of bourbon whiskey brands is long and distinguished. Every reputable spirits shop carries the most popular bourbons at their bar. And any beverage service that wants to excel offers exceptional whiskey for the most discerning connoisseurs. Ordering bourbon whiskey at the bar is not just about taste; it's also about image. Why is that? One name: Jack Daniel’s. Numerous rock 'n' roll bands like Guns 'n' Roses, Led Zeppelin, and Aerosmith have been photographed with a bottle of bourbon whiskey in hand, significantly contributing to the rock lifestyle image of the affectionately named "Jackie." This is not only why it’s a top seller but also because you can buy this whiskey at an affordable price.
But what makes this alcoholic beverage so special? And where does the sweet taste come from? First of all, this drink is typically American, unlike malt whisky, which is made in Scotland and Ireland. The name "Bourbon" comes from Bourbon County in Kentucky, named after the French royal family, the Bourbons. This was originally the main production area of the whiskey. Additionally, the so-called "water of life" is characterized by its high corn content. This is at least 51%, making it predominant in the grain mixture. The corn content varies in different bourbon whiskey types and reaches a maximum of 80% in strong corn whiskey. Moreover, a minimum aging period of two years is legally required, which takes place in charred new white oak barrels.
The barrels must be fresh and unused, which also significantly contributes to the taste of bourbon whiskey. Today, you can buy various types of bourbon whiskey. These include Straight Bourbon, a pure distillate from a grain mixture with at least 51% corn. Blended Bourbon, where different bourbon and straight bourbon whiskey brands are mixed. Additionally, Blended Straight Bourbon, which exclusively blends straight bourbons. Tennessee whiskey, which includes the famous Jack Daniel’s, comes from Tennessee and has at least 20% rye content in addition to corn, making it particularly mild. You can also buy the now somewhat rarer Rye Whiskey in our online spirits shop, where the grain mixture contains at least 51% rye. Be convinced by the variety in our whisky shop and enjoy bourbon whiskey according to your taste. By the way, our beverage delivery service brings your favorites right to your home.
