The Legendary Silkie Red Blended Irish Whiskey Pomerol Finish 0.7L 46% The Red Silkie Pomerol Finish takes the Silkie Irish Whiskey range in a new direction. Rather than focusing on legendary Donegal, this release aims to enhance the Silkie flavour profile by using casks used in the masterful production of Bordeaux's legendary Pomerol wines. The Red Silkie Pomerol is the first expression of an investigation into how flavour and character develop when Silkie comes together with other great drinks categories and the sum is greater than its parts. Rose gold to amber with a hint of glitter, this fine tipple presents itself. The nose is intense and complex, with notes of tarte tatin, candied fruit, a hint of liquorice and a floral violet note. The Legendary Silkie Red Irish Whiskey Pomerol Finish 0.7L 46% pampers the palate with smooth, rich aromas of raspberry coulis, dried oranges, baked apples, pipe tobacco, raisins in butter and muscovado, rounded off by a light saltiness, tannin, angelica and woody spices. The finish is richly sweet and salty. This delight is best enjoyed neat or slightly chilled with an ice cube. The full flavor profile only unfolds with the addition of a tiny drop of water.

Seagrams Seven Crown Whisky, 0.7L 40% The history of Seagrams The history of Seagram begins with Joseph Emm Seagram, whose parents ran two farms and had immigrated from England. After Joseph Emm Seagram was orphaned at a relatively early age, he returned to Canada after an education in the USA and became manager of the Granite and Waterloo Mills. There, as was common practice at the time, the surplus grain was distilled into alcohol. In 1883, Seagram finally took over the business completely and in the same year released the country's first branded whisky, Seagram's "83". The young company quickly became successful and exported large quantities of its whisky to the USA. After Seagram died in 1919, the company was sold by his sons to Samuel Bronfman, who expanded the company in the following years through numerous expansions and created brands that are still well known today, such as Crown Royal. With up to 21 distilleries and bottling plants around the world at times, Seagrams was for a long time the largest drinks company in the world. In addition to the drinks business, Seagrams also focused on the film business and, for example, Universal Studios and its parent company MCA were acquired. In 2001, the individual divisions of the group were finally sold and the drinks department was sold to a consortium of Pernod Ricard and Diageo. The Seagrams Seven Crown Whiskey The Seven Crown Whiskey is one of Seagrams' most popular blends and has a large following, especially in Europe. It is characterized by a spicy rye taste without tasting too spicy and at the same time impresses with a fine herbal note and a slight sweetness reminiscent of honey. The Seagrams Seven Crown Whiskey is also very suitable for use in cocktails and long drinks and offers good value for money. Our favorite drink with Seagrams Seven Crown Whiskey is the Whiskey Sour. Shake 5 cl Seagrams Seven Crown Whiskey, 3 cl freshly squeezed lemon juice and 2 cl sugar syrup with a few ice cubes in a shaker and strain through the bar strainer over more ice cubes in a tumbler. Decorate with a cocktail cherry and lemon zest.

Akashi Toji Blended Whisky 0.7L 40% Akashi Crafted By Toji is produced by the Eigashima Akashi White Oak Distillery in Japan. The distillery, located near the city of Akashi, was originally founded in 1919 to produce sake. Given the growing success of Japanese whisky, Akashi also began distilling whisky a few decades ago. Akashi Crafted By Toji, which has been on the market for several years, is a result of this decision. The name "Toji" denotes the highest authorities in sake distillation and reflects a high level of expertise. In collaboration with a renowned local Toji, the White Oak Distillery distilled this whisky, resulting in a unique union of Japanese sake and whisky culture. Akashi Toji Blended Whisky is distilled in a small still, which significantly reduces the alcohol content in the distillate. This makes the whisky extremely delicate after a relatively short maturation period. The aroma is very mild with notes of vanilla, honey, sweet cereals, a hint of white pepper, fresh herbs and a hint of apples and peat. On the palate, aromas of apples, chocolate, peaches, light vanilla, a pinch of cinnamon and white pepper unfold, accompanied by a hint of peat. The finish is medium-long and characterized by notes of brown sugar, vanilla, honey, cinnamon and oak.

Black Bottle Blended Whisky Smoke & Dagger 0.7L 46.3% Our story begins in 1879, when three brothers - Charles, David and Gordon Graham - set out from the tranquil Scottish town of Torphins to explore the world and find their fortune. With passion in their hearts and a penchant for the exotic, they quickly established themselves as masters of tea blending in the bustling city of Aberdeen. But despite their success, the brothers' thirst for adventure remains unquenched. Fate calls and tempts them to a new venture. They leave the tea trade behind and plunge into the unknown again. The trio breaks the shackles of tradition and experiments with unusual flavors and unconventional methods. They experiment, refine and perfect until they finally create a remarkable alchemical delight: a bold whisky that is both method and outsider. To this day, the brothers' spirit remains untouched by the fleeting hands of time - unshakably exceptional, without compromise. Today, Black Bottle continues to stand for the bold spirit of fearless discovery - for all those who are anything but conventional with their drink. Black Bottle Blended Whisky Smoke & Dagger 0.7L 46.3% is the fourth bottling of the "Alchemy Series" called Smoke & Dagger. Master distiller Brendan McCarron and master blender Julieann Fernandez had some innovative ideas: First, they matured all of the grain whisky in the recipe in former Ledaig casks to give it a special note of island smokiness. Second, they ventured deep into the hallowed halls of Bunnahabhain and secured some of the extremely heavily peated Islay malt called "Moine HP". Black Bottle Smoke & Dagger is very peaty, which reveals a wealth of nuances upon closer inspection. This Smoke & Dagger bottling is a limited edition. Bottled at 46.3% alcohol, the nose initially reveals salty and algae-like notes reminiscent of sea air, followed by dark smoke and a crisp spiciness. The palate presents an intense blend of roasted spices, strong peat and charred oak. The smoke slowly disappears, giving way to golden barley malt, a hint of vanilla cream and a coastal sea breeze. The finish is long-lasting with notes of salted caramel and deep-layered smoke.

Tullamore Dew XO Caribbean Rum Cask Finish 0.7L 43% In Germany, Tullamore Dew is now a synonym for Irish whiskey. However, it is unfortunate to learn that the brand is rarely found in Ireland itself and only a few Irish people know it. The Irish whiskey distillery was founded in 1829 by Michael Molloy in Tullamore, County Offaly. After his death, it was passed on to his nephew, who promptly renamed it B. Daly Distillery after him. The later managing director and namesake Daniel E. Williams began his apprenticeship as a master distiller in the distillery at the age of just 14. In 1887, his initials DEW became the identifying feature of today's Tullamore DEW whiskey. The passion for whiskey production seems to run in the Williams family, as D. Williams' grandson also later became involved in the company. With his commitment and his love of travel, he explored the American market, got to know the blends there and, upon his return, brought the first Irish blended whisky onto the market. Despite this, Tullamore Whisky is still relatively unknown in Ireland today. Like many others, the distillery ran into financial difficulties after World War II and had to close in 1954. The brand rights were sold to John Power & Son, which later became Irish Distillers. In 1994 it was sold again to the C&C Group and in 2010 for the last time to William Grant & Sons Irish Brands Ltd. In September 2014, production resumed near home in Tullamore. Caribbean flair is achieved with Tullamore Dew XO Caribbean Rum Cask Finish 0.7L 43%, a product that was only added to the company's range in 2018. The demand for cask bottlings was satisfied with this product. The well-known Tullamore Dew Triple Blend forms the basis for this Caribbean rum, which is finished in First Fill XO Caribbean Rum Casks. The aroma is reminiscent of a Caribbean holiday with fresh tropical fruits such as bananas, citrus fruits and the finest Demerara sugar. The soft, almost creamy texture of the triple blend unfolds on the tongue. Tropical aromas, complemented by date aroma and caramel, make this whisky a delight. In the aftertaste, it continues to impress with ripe banana and caramel notes.

Grant's Triple Wood Blended Whisky 1.0L 40% Dark amber reflections and a fruity bouquet The basis of the Triple Wood, which has only recently been released on the market, is the classic from the William Grant distillery that has been known since 1898. For the Triple Wood, as you might have guessed, it was distilled in three different barrels made of American white oak. No. 1 is a virgin oak cask, a new barrel that has never been filled. No. 2 is a first fill cask and No. 3 is a refill bourbon cask. All three can have different effects on the whisky, some give more depth and subtle fruit notes, others a hint of vanilla and a smoky character. All in all, however, the whisky's aromas are perfectly balanced. In the glass you can enjoy a great view of dark amber. The bouquet opens with clear fruit notes, which are particularly reminiscent of apple or banana. On the palate there is a hint of malt and vanilla, both of which provide a pleasant sweetness.

J & B Rare Scotch Whisky 0.7L 40% J & B Whisky The history of J & B Whisky goes back to the 18th century. At that time, Justerini, who comes from Bologna, moved to the British 'big city' of London. Equipped with old recipes for various liqueurs, Justerini's goal was to open his own spirits factory. Luckily, he met George Johnson in London, with whom he was able to open a small wine shop and pursue his dream. When Albert Brooks' business was put up for sale in 1831, they didn't have to think twice and bought the business. Brooks continued to offer advice and support for a while, so that over time they were able to specialize in the distribution of whisky. The taste You might think the makers of J & B Rare whisky are crazy when you hear that this is a blend of up to forty different grain whiskies. Contrary to all expectations, however, J & B Rare is a balanced and well-rounded blended whisky that is one of the most popular Scottish blends.

The Midnight Silkie Blended Irish Whiskey Non Chill Filtered 0.7L 46% Sliabh Liag Distillery The well-known Sliabh Liag distillery is behind the Silkie whiskey brand. This is the first whiskey distillery in Donegal in over 175 years. The aim of the distillery is to bring the authenticity of the landscape and the taste of whiskey from before the industrial revolution back to life. Harmonious blend It is often said that less is more. However, this is absolutely not the case with The Midnight Blend from Silkie. Despite the blending of 35%, drippy, triple distilled single malt and four different triple distilled single malts that were also stored in different barrels such as Sherry Cask, Oloroso Cask or Virgin Oak barrels, they managed to create a very rich but nevertheless harmonious whisky. Despite the smoky character, the focus in terms of taste is clearly on the fruity components. When tasting, you can clearly detect notes of juicy pear, which are subtly accompanied by sandalwood and oak and a hint of chocolate.

Blended Whisky – Finest Blended Scotch from Malt and Grain Whisky
Blended whisky is a mix of malt whisky and grain whisky. Blended whiskies, or blends for short, make up about 90% of the world's whisky production. A blend typically consists of up to 50 different malt whiskies and grain whiskies. While the malts bring character and aromas to the blend, the grain whisky adds a certain lightness. After the British had to give up their beloved brandy due to the phylloxera crisis, blended whiskies boomed, and brands like Chivas Regal, Ballantines, Johnnie Walker, and Dewar's became world-famous. Composing a high-quality blend is extremely challenging, and only highly trained specialists, the so-called master blenders, achieve good results. In recent years, the sales of premium blends, which contain particularly mature and old whiskies and a high malt content, have increased significantly.
