Black Bottle Scotch Whisky, 0,7 L, 40%
Black Bottle Scotch Whisky 0.7L 40% About Black Bottle Scotch Whisky Black Bottle Scotch Whisky is a blended whisky distributed by Gordon Graham. Black Bottle Scotch Whisky has a very long history and has been marketed and sold under this name since 1879. The name Black Bottle Scotch Whisky comes from the original black bottle in which this blended whisky was bottled. These black bottles were imported from Germany at the time, but their import had to be stopped in 1914 with the start of the First World War. Since then, Black Bottle Scotch Whisky has been bottled in the well-known green bottle and is adorned with the unmistakable black label. Due to a fire in one of the distilleries producing it, the Black Bottle Scotch Whisky was temporarily forgotten and was finally revitalized in the 1990s and relaunched as a blend of Islay malt whiskies. The Black Bottle Scotch Whisky has since boasted that it contains whiskies from all seven Islay distilleries. This is probably no longer the case today, but Islay whiskies definitely form the backbone of the Black Bottle Scotch Whisky. They are joined by spirits from the Highlands, Speyside and the Lowlands and fine, mild grain whisky. It is believed that all of the malt whisky components in the Black Bottle bottling have been matured for over seven years. The taste of the Black Bottle Scotch Whisky On the nose, the smoky and peaty aromas clearly dominate the Black Bottle Scotch Whisky, which lie slightly above the fruity, fresh aromas of the blend. The smoky aromas can also be perceived on the palate in combination with a mild sweetness. The body is, as is usual for a blend, not too strong, which is why the Black Bottle is not a too heavy whisky overall. In the aftertaste, the Black Bottle Scotch Whisky then shows its full potential again and also shows the fine, light aromas of the grain. If you like smoky blends, the Black Bottle Scotch Whisky is the right choice!

Black Bottle Blended Whisky Smoke & Dagger 0,7L 46,3%
Black Bottle Blended Whisky Smoke & Dagger 0.7L 46.3% Our story begins in 1879, when three brothers - Charles, David and Gordon Graham - set out from the tranquil Scottish town of Torphins to explore the world and find their fortune. With passion in their hearts and a penchant for the exotic, they quickly established themselves as masters of tea blending in the bustling city of Aberdeen. But despite their success, the brothers' thirst for adventure remains unquenched. Fate calls and tempts them to a new venture. They leave the tea trade behind and plunge into the unknown again. The trio breaks the shackles of tradition and experiments with unusual flavors and unconventional methods. They experiment, refine and perfect until they finally create a remarkable alchemical delight: a bold whisky that is both method and outsider. To this day, the brothers' spirit remains untouched by the fleeting hands of time - unshakably exceptional, without compromise. Today, Black Bottle continues to stand for the bold spirit of fearless discovery - for all those who are anything but conventional with their drink. Black Bottle Blended Whisky Smoke & Dagger 0.7L 46.3% is the fourth bottling of the "Alchemy Series" called Smoke & Dagger. Master distiller Brendan McCarron and master blender Julieann Fernandez had some innovative ideas: First, they matured all of the grain whisky in the recipe in former Ledaig casks to give it a special note of island smokiness. Second, they ventured deep into the hallowed halls of Bunnahabhain and secured some of the extremely heavily peated Islay malt called "Moine HP". Black Bottle Smoke & Dagger is very peaty, which reveals a wealth of nuances upon closer inspection. This Smoke & Dagger bottling is a limited edition. Bottled at 46.3% alcohol, the nose initially reveals salty and algae-like notes reminiscent of sea air, followed by dark smoke and a crisp spiciness. The palate presents an intense blend of roasted spices, strong peat and charred oak. The smoke slowly disappears, giving way to golden barley malt, a hint of vanilla cream and a coastal sea breeze. The finish is long-lasting with notes of salted caramel and deep-layered smoke.
