Pommeau de Bretagne Vieille Reserve 0.7L 17% Guy LE LAY, the inventor of the first Breton Pommeau in December 1986, launched the spirit made from apple must and apple brandy, initially under the name "Apéritif des Menhirs" and later as "Pommeau des Menhirs". In contrast to its Norman counterpart, the Breton Pommeau is characterized by a stronger, more tannic structure and also has a higher sugar content (123 g/l instead of 108 g/l). It is produced by cultivating a 40-hectare apple orchard. The Pommeau varieties (AOC) from the Distillerie des Menhirs are still the most awarded in Brittany. The Pommeau de Bretagne Vieille Reserve 0.7L 17% is a true delicacy, a masterful composition of freshly pressed apple juice and the noble Lambig de Bretagne AOC, matured in French oak barrels. Its aromas of walnut and prune transport the senses to a world of sophistication. Served chilled and neat as an aperitif, it unfolds its full splendor and prepares the palate for an exquisite culinary experience. At the table, it harmonizes perfectly with melon and foie gras, its elegant note rounds off the taste experience. Opyos Vermouth Rouge de Luxembourg 2022 0.75L 18% Opyos Beverages produces spirits in limited quantities, inspired by the traditional culture of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The unique taste of Opyos is created by the harmonious combination of local botanicals with classic spirit ingredients. The result is an exclusive selection of products with intense aromas that authentically reflect the region's unique terroir. The Vermouth Rouge de Luxembourg 2022 is made from a finely tuned composition of wine and tinctures. This complex process begins with the careful selection of white and red wines as well as a variety of aromatic herbs, roots, flowers and fruits. The tinctures are made by macerating the selected ingredients in separate containers with alcohol and water at different times and alcohol concentrations. This process allows the aromas, essences, essential oils and colors from the herbs, roots, flowers and fruits to pass into the solution. The maceration time and amount of alcohol vary depending on the desired properties of the extracts. Once maceration is complete, the ingredients are gently pressed and filtered, resulting in different tinctures, each making its own contribution to the final product. Once the wine and tinctures are ready, they are precisely mixed and sugar is added. Once all components are harmoniously combined, the vermouth is filtered and the batch is tasted to ensure that the quality meets the highest standards. Opyos Vermouth Rouge de Luxembourg 2022 reveals a refreshing combination of menthol and wormwood on the nose, accompanied by spicy sage and a hint of floral scents of roses, elderflowers and gentian flowers. These aromas are rounded off by lingering fresh lemon and orange notes. On the palate, a subtle hint of aromatic spice is initially presented, accompanied by nuances of cloves, coriander and a hint of nutmeg. These are complemented by the sweet note of orange peel and strawberry, which harmonize perfectly with the light acidity of the wine. The finish is long and intense, characterized by refreshing aromas of mint, eucalyptus and gentian root. The taste finally ends in a bittersweet finish, accompanied by a mild freshness.

Opyos Pastis de Luxembourg 2020 0.7L 45% Opyos Beverages produces spirits in limited quantities, inspired by the rich tradition of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The unique taste of Opyos comes from the harmonious union of native botanicals and classic spirit ingredients. The result is an exclusive range of products with intense flavors that perfectly reflect the local terroir. In the production of our Pastis de Luxembourg, precise planning and a minute-by-minute production process are crucial. The process begins with the selection and preparation of the 11 ingredients according to our recipe. Some are distilled, others macerated for longer periods of time, and some experience both. During maceration, the selected plants, herbs and spices are individually filled into containers containing neutral grain spirit. It takes a few days for the alcohol to extract the desired flavors. The result is different extracts, each with its own characteristics and contribution to the final spirit. In addition to the maceration process, a distillate is produced using traditional copper stills. This allows the extraction of the different oils, essences and aromas from the various herbs, plants and spices. After distillation, the extracts and distillate are carefully mixed and gradually diluted with demineralized water to bring the pastis to a drinking strength of 45% vol. Before filtering, the mixture is left to rest for a few weeks to allow the sediment of the extracts to settle at the bottom of the tank. Once the batch has been tasted and approved, the sugar is added and the pastis is ready to be bottled. The aroma is characterized by green herbs such as fennel, star anise, sweet liquorice and chamomile. On the palate, an intense play of anise and lemon peel with a hint of liquorice unfolds. The finish is deep and long-lasting, characterized by anise and liquorice notes. Opyos Pastis de Luxembourg can be enjoyed neat, on ice or as a refreshing aperitif, perfect with fish, vegetables and cheese.

Byrrh Aperitif 1.0L 17% The creation of the BYRRH brand The history of the BYRRH spirits brand begins around the 1860s. Two young boys, the brothers Simon and Pallade Violet, decided to leave their parents' home to stand on their own two feet. At first they made a living as street vendors for textiles and haberdashery before moving to Thuir and opening a small shop where they could sell the fabrics and textiles in a permanent location. Their business was well received, but the brothers did not see this craft as their calling. When around 1866 the general interest in growing and selling wine grew, the brothers also decided to buy a small wine cellar. Since they continued to strive for an innovative idea and an absolute breakthrough, they experimented a lot in the wine cellar. Among other things, it was supposed to be a wine with a quinquina flavor, which could be sold as medicine because of the alcohol and the combination with quinquina. However, the brothers did not consider the strict regulations at the time for products containing the active ingredient quinquina sufficiently and had to ban it from pharmacies pretty quickly. After reducing the quinquina content, they decided to market their product as an aperitif from now on. A slightly different aperitif This aperitif can definitely be seen as something truly special. The wine-based aperitif from France is an unusual blend of red wine flavored with tonic water. Special botanicals were also sought for the special flavors. The ingredients list includes cinchona bark, which contains the active ingredient quinine which provides the bitter note, special spices from the Languedoc-Roussillon region, as well as gentian and camomile flowers. As this is already a mixed drink, we recommend tasting it neat, well chilled with a few ice cubes and a slice of lemon. Of course, like most spirits, it is also suitable for refining various cocktails or long drinks.

Classic, however: the typical aniseed or licorice notes. Plus fennel, wormwood and tarragon.
