Angels' Nectar Blended Malt Whisky 0.7L 40% History and production of Angels Nectar Blended Malt Whisky: Whisky lives from its long history and the many little legends that surround it. It is not uncommon for the name and taste of a whisky to go back to an interesting story or historical event. The myth of the Angels Share is probably familiar to most lovers, as it clearly illustrates how closely science and superstition are linked. The Angels Share, also known as the Angels' Drink, is essentially based on the phenomenon that a certain amount of liquid evaporates from the barrel every year during storage. The amount is more or less large depending on the climatic conditions and the type of barrel. Humidity also plays a major role. It can be observed that in Scottish warehouses, where the humidity is comparatively high and the temperatures are low, more alcohol evaporates than water. This means that the alcohol strength of the distillate decreases continuously over the years. In Kentucky, on the other hand, where bourbon is matured, it is very hot and dry. It is therefore not uncommon for more water to evaporate and the whiskey to gain in alcohol content. In the early days of whiskey production, the first distillers noticed that every year a part of their valuable goods, for which they worked so hard, went missing. They quickly suspected that the angels were secretly, quietly and discreetly tampering with the delicate contents of the barrel. This belief gave rise to the term Angels Share, which is still in use today. A truly amazing blended malt whiskey was recently released based on this Angels Share. Imagine being able to accompany the angels on their "raids". Of course, you would only choose the best and most exclusive barrels. With the Angels Nectar Blended Malt Whisky First Edition, you now have the opportunity to do so. A truly angelic composition was created from a unique selection of the finest and most delicate Speyside and Highland malts. Tasting of the Angels Nectar Blended Malt Whisky First Edition: The Angels Nectar Blended Malt Whisky First Edition has a natural, slightly golden color. On the nose, it shows a whole range of different but very harmonious aromas. A stunning, sour fruitiness of lemons, oranges, apples, pears and gooseberries is balanced by an intense sweetness. Vanilla, caramel, heather honey and butter biscuits form a balanced counterpart. The taste of the Angels Nectar Blended Malt Whisky First Edition is pleasantly gentle and mild, without lacking in complexity or strength. Once again, the character is dominated by the interplay of sweetness and acidity. This brings out wonderful notes of freshly baked apple pie, fruit bread and orange marmalade. In the background, there are also Christmas spices such as cinnamon, cloves and allspice. The Angels Nectar Blended Malt Whisky First Edition is rounded off with spicy oak, dark chocolate and coconut cream. With this extremely successful blended malt whisky, you are sure to be the envy of the angels. It's worth getting your hands on it.

Bunnahabhain Single Malt Whisky Eirigh Na Greine, 1 L, 46.3% History and production of Bunnahabhain Eirigh Na Greine: The Bunnahabhain distillery was founded in 1881 and is located in a picturesque bay in the north of the island of Islay. The name Bunnahabhain translates as "origin of the river" and goes back to the Margadale spring from which the water for production comes. Since the owner of the distillery changed in 2003, things have been going uphill for the Bunnahabhain distillery. The product portfolio has been greatly expanded and the quality has improved immensely. In addition to the peat smoke typical of Islay, Bunnahabhain's whiskies have a maritime note and a pleasant malt sweetness, which creates enormous complexity. The name Eirigh Na Greine comes from the Gaelic and means morning sky. This creates a connection to its intense, shiny gold color, which is reminiscent of the sunrise over the Scottish coast. For the Bunnahabhain Eirigh Na Greine, the master distiller of the Bunnahabhain distillery married a variety of his best single malt whiskies, most of which had previously matured for a long time in French red wine barrels. The result is an exceptionally complex single malt whisky that complements the typical taste profile of the Bunnahabhain distillery with rich fruit aromas of full-bodied wines from France. The Bunnahabhain Eirigh Na Greine is neither colored nor chill-filtered and is bottled at a powerful 46.3% ABV. Alcohol. Taste of the Bunnahabhain Eirigh Na Greine: The Bunnahabhain Eirigh Na Greine has a variety of aromas on the nose. Roasted nuts, marzipan and red berries are perfectly complemented by a beautifully integrated smoky note. In the background, hints of dried fruit and rose syrup can be detected. The taste of the Bunnahabhain Eirigh Na Greine is also convincing. Intense notes of ripe berries, raisins and grapes are supported by dark chocolate, oak and peat smoke, and are wonderfully balanced overall. The finish of the Bunnahabhain Eirigh Na Greine is very rich and warming, with notes of nuts and spicy oak. The powerful 46.3% vol. alcohol ensure enormous complexity and depth. Nevertheless, the Bunnahabhain Eirigh Na Greine is extremely mild and soft in taste. This makes this single malt whisky suitable for beginners and connoisseurs alike.
Elg Gin No.2 Gin not for everyone The Stone Range Distillery is already used to taking unusual paths with its first gin, Gin No. 1. With its second gin, the small Danish distillery takes a journey back in time to the 18th century and follows in the footsteps of a true explorer. Tom Chamberlain may have distilled ordinary gin in Victorian England, but in his free time he was always tinkering with new recipes in his well-equipped laboratory. Only particularly important customers of Chamberlain were allowed to taste these creations and when word got around about the existence of these special drops, everyone wanted to try “Tom Gin”. The reason the gin was so different was because of an alcoholic extract of the juniper berry. In the laboratory Based on the Elg Gin No. To create Gin No. 1, which consists of juniper, cardamom and carrots, master distiller Henrik Elsner, like Chamberlain, experimented and carried out tests which resulted in a dark, sweet and strong gin. The special thing about it is the naturally homemade juniper extract which is added to Gin No. 1 and thus enhances its sensory qualities. A wide variety of mixtures of juniper berries and alcohol strengths were tested until the final recipe was determined. The extraction process used is called maceration, in which the juniper berries are soaked in 50% alcohol for a month. During this time the alcohol takes on the aroma and color of the berries. After straining this mixture, at the end of the process there is an extract with a slightly reduced alcohol content which can then be used to refine the gin. Special then as now The extract now has a variety of aromas from the juniper plant which could not have been achieved through distillation. Used in the right proportions, this expands the aroma spectrum to include a particularly intense, fruity-sweet juniper aroma. The distillate is also no longer clear but has a violet color. The alcohol content has also shifted to around 46% vol. Gin No. 2 is therefore a pleasure to drink neat, and it is easy to understand why the gin from "Old Tom" was so well received.

Gin
Gin was first known as a medicine for stomach problems in the 15th century, before the British imported jenever from the Netherlands in the 16th century. It was not until the early 19th century that gin developed into a respected drink, when production guidelines were established. The base consists of grain and must have an alcohol content of at least 37.5% by volume according to EU standards. The addition of spices (botanicals) is particularly important, especially juniper, as well as various herbs, roots and fruits, depending on the variety.

Takamaka Pineapple Liqueur, 0.7L 25% Those responsible Behind the products from Takamaka is the Trois Freres Distillery, which is located on the main island of the Seychelles, Mahe. If you want to know exactly, a good 20km below the airport on Mahe. The still relatively small and young distillery is privately owned by the D'Offay family, but is already known for its high-quality rum. Liqueur range In addition to the already well-known Coconut Rum from Takamaka, the liqueur range has now been expanded to include another member. What other representative besides coconut could provide a Caribbean flair? Exactly, pineapple! The newest member is the Pinapple Liqueur, or as the locals say 'Takamaka Zanana'. The distillery states that white rum that has been aged for 12 months forms the basis here. This is refined with fresh pineapple juice and then not only brought to drinking strength with sugar water, but also transformed into a liqueur.

Takamaka Extra Noir St. Andre Series 0.7L 43% Extra Noir The production according to a new process and new recipe is very appropriate and you will hardly experience it a second time. The 'Extra Noir' takes place in different stages. A base distillate is made from molasses and is a blend of 'pressed rum', using a ratio of 1/3 and 2/3. For the part that makes up 1/3 of the blend, large wood chips from the Tonnelerie Bossuet are added, which are then left to soak in the alcohol for a good 2 hours. This explains the significantly darker color in direct comparison to its three competitors in the series. After the 'soaking time', a coarse filtration takes place so that some fine wood chips remain. This is followed by a maturation period of another six hours. The same thing happens with the blend, which makes up 2/3. However, for this, ex-bourbon white American oak fines from River Drive Cooperage & Millwork are used. Here, the soaking takes place over seven days before cavitation for six hours. Now both rums are married together and another maturing phase takes place for around 60 days in French oak barrels. Finally, the rum is diluted to a pleasant drinking strength of 43% vol. and, according to the manufacturer, the color is 'refined' with distillery caramel.

Loimu Glögi 2021 0.75L 15% Lignell & Piispanen The small family distillery from Finland has been producing high-quality spirits for years, including various berry liqueurs and vodka. The family began producing various spirits by hand in the early 1850s. The focus was always on naturalness and the connection to Finnish vegetation. The various berries and plants are hand-picked from untouched nature in the Nordic forests of Finland and processed into the finest, high-quality spirits. A particular annual highlight of the distillery is the vintage Glögg, which is being released again this year. Every year, the strong red wine that serves as the base is refined with various berries. For the 2021 vintage, raspberries and currants were chosen. These were refined by adding winter spices such as cardamom, cinnamon or cloves. Lignell & Piispanen recommends: Drink the Glögg in good company and heated to no more than 60 degrees. First add almonds, raisins and/or other dried fruits to the cup, then pour the warmed Loimu Glögg over it.

Tanqueray Blackcurrant Royale Gin 0.7L 41.3% The family story The history of the Tanqueray distillery begins with a decision made by the young Charles Tanqueray. After his family, who worked in silversmithing, emigrated from France to England at the beginning of the 18th century to try their luck there, Charles decided a good 100 years later to leave the family tradition behind and take up a life as a preacher. It is also known that the original recipes of other spirits can be traced back to servants of God, including Charles Tanqueray, who became familiar with the benefits of alcohol at a very early age. Charles aspired to found his own gin distillery, and no sooner said than done, he opened his distillery in the London district of Bloomsbury in 1830. Premium Flavoured Gin After interest in gin increased significantly again in the last decade, the trend has been to offer flavoured products in the gin sector for several years. The Tanqueray distillery is launching the 'Blackcurrant Rayale Gin'. The addition 'Royal' here refers more to the past, because in earlier centuries exotic or expensive fruits such as blackcurrants were only available to the nobility. It is characterised by a strong, fruity taste of blackcurrants and light floral notes that come from the use of black orchids. The typical gin aromas spread across the palate.

Amazzoni Gin 0.7L 42% Brazil's first gin distillery In the middle of a picturesque setting on an 18th century coffee farm you will find Brazil's first gin distillery, which is also probably the largest craft gin distillery in all of Latin America. Amazzoni is 100% a Brazilian product, not only in terms of ingredients, but also in terms of distillery philosophy and the production process. What could be better suited for a world-class gin than pure, crystal-clear water from the Amazon? Botanicals that have never been used in a gin before demonstrate the special nature of the Amazon. In addition to the basic spice juniper, which is also clearly evident on the palate, special Brazilian ingredients find a place in the gin: cocoa, maxixe (also known as Amazon cucumber), Brazilian chestnut, cipò-cravo and water lily seeds. These and other ingredients are macerated in grain alcohol and then distilled in a copper still.

Foxdenton Christmas Liqueur 0.05L 19.5% Foxdenton Estate The estate is said to have been owned by the Radclyff family since 1569, but the distillery as we know it today was not founded until 1935. After the death of founder Alexander, the company was passed on to his son Nicohlas Radclyff in 2001. However, the family-run company has always had the same goal: To produce gin and fruit gin products that reflect the authentic style of the English country. To do this, they only use products that come from English agriculture wherever possible. Seasonal products are also an important point in the production of Radclyff's. Christmas notes The basis here is again the London Dry Gin from Foxdenton. This time it has been refined with ripe plums and a whole basket of spices. These include cinnamon, cloves and star anise, as well as oriental spices such as ginger and cardamom, which we would also classify as 'Christmas spices' in our latitudes. There are also aromatic Winslow plums, which provide a wonderfully fruity aroma. Now also available in miniature. Makes a great little gift in a homemade Advent calendar.

If you notice that something is wrong when you receive the parcel, e.g. different adhesive tape, the box is wet, please refuse to accept it. We will then get the parcel back and arrange for a new shipment. If you have accepted the parcel and then discover damage, please take pictures of the parcel and the damaged goods and contact us. We will then clarify the next steps with you.
- My drink doesn't taste good. Can I send it back and get a refund?
-
We cannot take back opened bottles. Taste is different for everyone and we cannot guarantee the taste.
- Can I deliver goods to my hotel while I am in Germany?
-
Yes, that is possible. However, discuss with your hotel whether they are prepared to accept packages for you. Also allow for a waiting period. It is best to stay at the hotel for several days so that they are flexible with deliveries. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee deliveries on a specific day and time.
- I was not at home during the delivery of the parcel service. What happens now?
-
Unfortunately, sometimes you are not at home. Your parcel is often ready for collection at an Access Point or post office. Sometimes the parcel is also returned to us. If we receive the parcel back, we can send it to you again. However, we will then have to charge you shipping costs again. In the event of a refund or withdrawal, we reserve the right to retain the shipping costs.
