Bruichladdich, which translates as beach corner, is located on the island of Islay, right near the Bowmore distillery on the western shore of Loch Indaal. Bruichladdich is the westernmost distillery in Scotland. Bruichladdich was founded in 1881 by the brothers Robert William and John Gourlay Harve.
