Aelred Liqueur 1889 Crème de Cassis de la Drôme 0.5L 16% Since 1889 – Aelred The monks who lived here at the beginning of the monastery's history developed their own recipes for various spirits. To this day, these are of great importance for production and some of the products on the market are still made according to the monks' recipes. Production also follows a closely guarded process, which preserves the unique character and typical taste. Sometimes up to three different processes are used in one product: maceration, distillation or infusion. Crèmes de Fruits The Crème de Fruits range consists of a total of eight products. All products are based on the same principle: Fruit teas are combined with alcohol and cane sugar to create a fine liqueur with intense fruit notes. You can serve the Crème de Cassis with white wine or, for the sparkling version, with Prosecco.

Takamaka Pineapple Liqueur, 0.7L 25% Those responsible Behind the products from Takamaka is the Trois Freres Distillery, which is located on the main island of the Seychelles, Mahe. If you want to know exactly, a good 20km below the airport on Mahe. The still relatively small and young distillery is privately owned by the D'Offay family, but is already known for its high-quality rum. Liqueur range In addition to the already well-known Coconut Rum from Takamaka, the liqueur range has now been expanded to include another member. What other representative besides coconut could provide a Caribbean flair? Exactly, pineapple! The newest member is the Pinapple Liqueur, or as the locals say 'Takamaka Zanana'. The distillery states that white rum that has been aged for 12 months forms the basis here. This is refined with fresh pineapple juice and then not only brought to drinking strength with sugar water, but also transformed into a liqueur.

Tiki Lovers Pineapple 0.7L 45% History and production of the Tiki Lovers Pineapple: The flavor combination of rum, pineapple and coconut existed long before the invention of the world-famous Piña Colada. Pineapple was cultivated in the Caribbean as early as the 16th century and its sweet, fruity taste was also appreciated in combination with rum. Records show that the rum served on board pirate ships was often flavored with fruit and spices to mask the burning taste. In addition to limes and cinchona bark, the sweet pineapple pulp was also used. Fresh coconut water was also often used on long sea voyages if there were no sources of clean drinking water. It is therefore obvious that the combination of rum, pineapple and coconut was known much earlier, albeit with a different flavor than is the case with the Piña Colada today. The Tiki Lovers Pineapple has its origins in exactly this time. Many distillers macerated their high-proof rum with pineapple to provide an additional dimension and thereby increase the complexity. This worked particularly well with rum that was distilled from fresh sugar cane juice. The already fruity rum flavor could thus be further intensified through this production process. The basis for the Tiki Lovers Pineapple is a blend of matured Jamaican pot still rum, a full-bodied rum from Barbados and unmatured column still rums from Trinidad and Guyana. This unique combination is supported by the combination of exotic pineapple and ensures an incomparable play of flavors. The strong 45% alcohol by volume brings the necessary power to really bring out the sophistication of the taste. Taste of the Tiki Lovers Pineapple: The Tiki Lovers Pineapple immediately shows an intense, extremely fruity pineapple aroma on the nose. It seems incredibly natural, as if you were holding a freshly cut, ripe pineapple in front of you. In the background there are sweet notes, baked bananas, honey and a hint of vanilla. This is accompanied by a fresh fruitiness that is reminiscent of green apples and pears. Overall, the aroma of the Tiki Lovers Pineapple is extremely complex, with a pronounced fruitiness. The Tiki Lovers Pineapple has an incredible amount of power at the start. The intense pineapple notes come to the fore immediately. There are also ripe bananas, cashew nuts, pears and a slight grassiness. The finish is long, warming and powerful. The Tiki Lovers Pineapple is a really successful product, which is unique on the market in this form. The strong fruitiness, the sweet pineapple aromas and the full-bodied taste are extremely harmonious and very complex. The Tiki Lovers Pineapple can be used in a variety of exotic cocktails, enriches any home bar and is therefore unreservedly recommended.

Cardenal Mendoza Angelùs 0.7L 40% Cardenal Mendoza – from Jerez de la Frontera Jerez de la Frontera – Every gourmet in the world probably associates the name of this city with high-quality brandy and sherry. At the end of the 18th century, Jerez de la Frontera was already considered one of the capitals of European wine and spirits traders. It was also during this time, more precisely in 1781, that the Spaniard Juan Sánchez de la Torre laid the foundation stone for today's trading company Sánchez Romate Hermanos. In 1887, a good century after the founding of Sánchez Romate Hermanos, the fourth generation of the family decided to produce a brandy for private use and for their closest friends. This was the birth of Cardenal Mendoza Solera Gran Reserva, the house's prestige brand. To this day, Cardenal Mendoza Clasico is one of the best known and most frequently drunk brandies in the world. Incidentally, the Sánchez Romate Hermanos company is one of the few large companies in the wine and spirits sector that is still locally owned. The Cardenal Mendoza Angelùs Even a large company like Sánchez Romate Hermanos is of course aware that standing still means going backwards. Resting on time-honored products does not bring long-term success. That is why the company is always trying to improve existing products and bring new, innovative bottlings onto the market. The house's latest creation is the Cardenal Mendoza Angelùs. This is an intensely aromatic liqueur based on a high-quality brandy. The Cardenal Mendoza Angelùs is produced in a distillery founded in 1824, which still uses traditional water bath distillation. After the brandy has been distilled and allowed to mature for a certain period of time, it is mixed with various natural ingredients and left to macerate. After the liqueur has been sweetened with a little sugar, it is bottled at a strong 40% ABV. The mahogany-colored Cardenal Mendoza Angelùs impresses on the nose with complex spice and citrus notes. The palate also shows nuances of citrus fruits that can be clearly identified as bitter oranges. The aftertaste shows fine roasted notes and is extremely long. A very successful liqueur!

Gustav Cloudberry Liqueur, 0.5 L, 21% The Gustav liqueurs from Lignell & Piispanen The Gustav Cloudberry Liqueur is produced by the Finnish company Lignell & Piispanen. This company has a long tradition that goes back to 1852. At that time, a certain Gustav Ranin founded the company and a few years later bought the Crown Distillery in the city of Kuopio. The Crown Distillery was once made famous by King Gustav III of Sweden and was known throughout the country for its advanced technology and the high quality of the distillates produced there. Gustav Ranin wanted to further improve the spirits from the Crown Distillery and since this was hardly technologically possible at the time, he decided early on that only the highest quality ingredients should be used for his products in order to increase the quality. It was also important to him that the ingredients came from the Arctic circles and were harvested without causing major damage to nature. The Lignell & Piispanen company, now run by Harri Nylund in the sixth generation, still follows this philosophy today. The Gustav Cloudberry Liqueur The Cloudberry Liqueur is also produced strictly according to these quality criteria. The basic ingredient is cloudberries, which are known in Germany as cloudberries. The cloudberry is a very rare plant that bears yellow-orange fruit and thrives in the boreal and circumpolar zones. The very small stocks in Germany are strictly protected. The cloudberries for the Gustav Cloudberry Liqueur are harvested in the wild, which means a lot of work. After the harvest, the cloudberries are mixed with sugar and home-made alcohol and the mixture is then left to mature for several months. After the maturation period, the mixture is pressed, filtered and bottled at 21% vol. bottled in elegant designer bottles. The taste of Gustav Cloudberry Liqueur The gentle Cloudberry Liqueur has an orange-yellow color and a floral and fruity smell, similar to cloudberries. On the palate, Cloudberry Liqueur impresses with aromas of honey and apricots as well as nuances of delicate flowers. We recommend enjoying Gustav Cloudberry Liqueur slightly chilled and neat. However, it is also suitable for use in cocktails!

The Bitter Truth Violet Liqueur, 0.5 L, 22% Cocktail bitters over time Cocktail bitters have a long tradition and many of the old cocktail recipes call for their use. Like the heart of cocktail culture, the center of cocktail bitters production at that time was in the USA. With the start of Prohibition in 1919, however, as with many other spirits companies, the fate of most bitters manufacturers was sealed. Only a few brands, such as Angostura Bitters, survived the dry period, but were never able to regain their former glory. Along with cocktail bitters, many classic cocktails were forgotten and for many decades colorful drinks with lots of cream and coconut liqueur were the most popular drinks in many bars. This was not to change until the beginning of the 21st century, when classic cocktails slowly came back into fashion. Unfortunately, the drinks could often not be recreated true to the original because a crucial ingredient was missing - the cocktail bitters. The two internationally known bartenders Stephan Berg & Alexander Hauck were also aware of this problem and founded the company "The Bitter Truth" in 2005. The aim of this small factory was to bring long-forgotten cocktail bitters back to life and thus enable bartenders and connoisseurs to mix classic cocktail bitters again. Classic bitters, liqueurs and spirits Both Stephan Berg and Alexander Hauck made their own bitters by hand during their active time as bartenders in order to be able to offer their guests high-quality cocktails. In the large collection of historical cocktail books that Stephan Berg owns, the two found inspiration for recipes, which they then refined further. The first bitters they brought onto the market were a Lemon Bitters, an Orange Bitters and the famous Aromatic Bitters. Numerous other bitters followed, such as the Celery Bitters, which was voted "Spirit of the Year" by Mixology Magazine in 2008. Over the years, however, Berg and Hauck also realized that there was also a demand for old spirits and liqueurs that were difficult or no longer available in their original form. One of these liqueurs is a violet liqueur - the Violet Liqueur! The taste of the Violet Liqueur The Violet Liqueur from The Bitter Truth is made from the flowers of wild violets from the Alpine foothills. These are married with a little sugar and the finest grain brandy. Light in body, with subtle floral notes, the sugar content in The Bitter Truth Violet Liqueur was deliberately reduced. This creates a very natural and fresh taste that comes across very well in cocktails such as Aviation, Blue Moon or Violet Fizz. The delicate, elegant aromas of the violets are captured in an impressive way in this Violet Liqueur. The Violet Liqueur is also a real treat neat, on ice or with sparkling wine. Recommended!

Legendario Rum Elixir de Cuba Liqueur 0.7 L, 34% The history of Cuban rum The production of rum has a long tradition in Cuba. This is due, among other things, to the quality of the excellent sugar cane that has always grown in Cuba. The inhabitants of Cuba realized centuries ago that the juice of the sugar cane can be fermented and made a type of sugar wine from it. When the technique of distilling was brought to Cuba from Europe, the owners of the newly established sugar cane plantations produced the first high-proof rums. This early form of rum, however, was not comparable to today's qualities, such as the Legendario Rum Elixir de Cuba, and was intended more as a drink for the slaves working on the farms. The immigrant Europeans, on the other hand, enjoyed local drinks such as brandy or sherry. The reputation of rum only increased in the 20th century, when old ways of thinking were abandoned and the quality of sugar cane distillates came close to that of European products. Cuban rum then made its breakthrough in the 1950s with brands that are still legendary today, such as Havana Club, and famous drinks like Cuba Libre. The production of the Legendario Rum Elixir de Cuba Liqueur The number of rums produced in Cuba has now become almost unmanageable. Nevertheless, there are some products, such as the Legendario Rum Elixir de Cuba, that stand out. Strictly speaking, the Legendario Rum Elixir de Cuba is not even a rum. Although the finest rum that has been aged for seven years is used as a base to produce the Legendario Rum Elixir de Cuba, many other ingredients are added. After the base rum has completed its seven-year maturation in oak barrels, it is mixed with a liqueur made from grape juice and macerated raisins. This creates the exclusive and delicate taste of the Legendario Rum Elixir de Cuba. The taste of the Legendario Rum Elixir de Cuba As you might expect from the manufacturing process, the taste of the Legendario Rum Elixir de Cuba is extraordinary. On the nose, the Legendario Rum Elixir de Cuba has fine dried fruit aromas. The smell of raisins is clearly in the foreground. On the palate, the Legendario Rum Elixir de Cuba is full-bodied, round and with a pleasant sweetness. The aftertaste of the Legendario Rum Elixir de Cuba is very fruity and of immense length. We recommend enjoying the Legendario Rum Elixir de Cuba slightly chilled with a dessert!
