History and production of the Tiki Lovers Pineapple:

The flavor combination of rum, pineapple and coconut existed long before the invention of the world-famous Piña Colada. Pineapple was cultivated in the Caribbean as early as the 16th century and its sweet, fruity taste was also appreciated in combination with rum. Records show that the rum served on board pirate ships was often flavored with fruit and spices to mask the burning taste. In addition to limes and cinchona bark, the sweet pineapple pulp was also used. Fresh coconut water was also often used on long sea voyages if there were no sources of clean drinking water. It is therefore obvious that the combination of rum, pineapple and coconut was known much earlier, albeit with a different flavor than is the case with the Piña Colada today.

The Tiki Lovers Pineapple has its origins in exactly this time. Many distillers macerated their high-proof rum with pineapple to provide an additional dimension and thereby increase the complexity. This worked particularly well with rum that was distilled from fresh sugar cane juice. The already fruity rum flavor could thus be further intensified through this production process.

The basis for the Tiki Lovers Pineapple is a blend of matured Jamaican pot still rum, a full-bodied rum from Barbados and unmatured column still rums from Trinidad and Guyana. This unique combination is supported by the combination of exotic pineapple and ensures an incomparable play of flavors. The strong 45% alcohol by volume brings the necessary power to really bring out the sophistication of the taste.

Taste of the Tiki Lovers Pineapple:

The Tiki Lovers Pineapple immediately shows an intense, extremely fruity pineapple aroma on the nose. It seems incredibly natural, as if you were holding a freshly cut, ripe pineapple in front of you. In the background there are sweet notes, baked bananas, honey and a hint of vanilla. This is accompanied by a fresh fruitiness that is reminiscent of green apples and pears. Overall, the aroma of the Tiki Lovers Pineapple is extremely complex, with a pronounced fruitiness.

The Tiki Lovers Pineapple has an incredible amount of power at the start. The intense pineapple notes come to the fore immediately. There are also ripe bananas, cashew nuts, pears and a slight grassiness. The finish is long, warming and powerful.

The Tiki Lovers Pineapple is a really successful product, which is unique on the market in this form. The strong fruitiness, the sweet pineapple aromas and the full-bodied taste are extremely harmonious and very complex. The Tiki Lovers Pineapple can be used in a variety of exotic cocktails, enriches any home bar and is therefore unreservedly recommended.

Tiki Lovers White Rum, 0,7 L, 50%
Tiki Lovers White Rum, 0.7 L, 50% History and production of Tiki Lovers White Rum: With the Tiki culture, the Polynesian way of life found its way into the everyday lives of many Americans at the beginning of the 20th century. Restaurants, bars and clubs in the typical Tiki look sprouted up like mushrooms. Bamboo sticks, carved figures of gods, palm trees and wooden masks could be seen everywhere and Polynesian pop blared from the loudspeakers. The initiator of the movement was the American Ernest Raymond Beaumont Gantt, better known as Don the Beachcomber, who opened his Tiki bar in Hollywood in 1934. He is considered the forefather of the Tiki drink, a cocktail category that thrives on the intense rum and juices of exotic fruits. His world-famous Zombie is still considered legendary and is now a staple on almost every cocktail menu. The basis of most Tiki drinks is strong, characterful rum with complex fruit aromas and a voluminous body. The Tiki Lovers White Rum offers all of this, which is why it is perfect for Tiki drinks. The basis for the Tiki Lovers White Rum is a Jamaican rum that has been stored in oak barrels for three to five years. This is blended with mild rum from Trinidad and then filtered through charcoal. This causes the rum to lose its dark color and become crystal clear. The taste and fruity aroma are not affected. Finally, a rum from a column still is added, which gives the Tiki Lovers White Rum a fresh, floral character. The version presented here is bottled at an impressive 50% alcohol by volume. This gives the Tiki Lovers White Rum an even more intense and complex aroma. Taste of the Tiki Lovers White Rum: The Tiki Lovers White Rum has a beguiling, rich bouquet of ripe bananas, raisins and cashew nuts, accompanied by guava and mango in the background. The aroma is intense and strong, typically Jamaican. The taste again features banana and mango, but also molasses, chocolate and crème brûlée. A slight spiciness also comes to the fore. The finish is long and warming, with light notes of hay and dried tea leaves. The Tiki Lovers White Rum is a strong Caribbean rum, which is predestined for Tiki drinks of all kinds thanks to its rich fruit aromas and intense rum taste. The increase to 50% vol. is absolutely successful and ensures that the Tiki Lovers White Rum always plays the leading role in the exotic Tiki recipes. Be sure to try the Tiki Lovers White Rum in a classic Ti Punch with two lime wedges and a bar spoon of sugar syrup or the popular classic Waikiki Beach. Waikiki Beach: - 5 cl Tiki Lovers White Rum - 7 cl passion fruit juice - 3 cl lime juice - 1 cl almond syrup - Shake with ice cubes and pour into a tumbler with crushed ice.

Plantation Pineapple Stiggins Fancy 0,7L 40%
Plantation Pineapple Stiggins Fancy 0.7L 40% Plantation Rum – Philosophy It all began with Alexander Gabriel's most significant discovery: He became aware of Maison Ferrand, one of the oldest spirits brands in the Cognac region. The reputation of the cognac house is undisputed, but at that time the desired sales were not forthcoming. You could say it was love at first sight, which meant that Gabriel immediately joined the company. During his travels, always on a professional basis, Alexander Gabriel built up an impressive network of partners, all of whom were just as passionate as he was. In the 1990s, on one of his many trips to the Caribbean, he was looking for the best rum in the region. He struck gold and discovered a range of the finest rums, and the Plantations range was born. It is a fine selection of rums from the tropical terroirs. As Alexander Gabriel, as president and owner of Maison Ferrand, also stands for good cognac, he has also tried to make something of it. He sells his used barrels to other spirits manufacturers, but primarily to rum producers, especially in the Caribbean and Latin America. Over time, impressive rum expressions have emerged. Several times a year, the owner now takes the time to personally search the Caribbean for the best rums in order to present them to the world. One of them is: Plantation Pineapple Stiggins Fancy This rum has a really beautiful background. It is supposed to be a homage to the character from the Pickwick Papers, Reverend Stiggins, who was created by Charles Dicken. He loved drinking 'pineapple rum'. For this exceptional rum, the peels of the Victoria pineapple are placed in Plantation 3 Stars Rum and then distilled further. The pulp is placed separately in Plantation Original Dark Rum. In the finish, both the distillate and the fruit infusion are mixed to create a rich and fruity pineapple bouquet. The fresh fruit aroma is also emphasized by notes of smoke and cloves.

Plantation Stiggins Fancy Pineapple Smoky Formula 0,7L 40%
Plantation Stiggins Fancy Pineapple Smoky Formula 0.7L 40% Production of the Stiggins Fancy Pineapple Smoky Formula Firstly, the Stiggins Fancy Pineapple Smoky Formula is produced in the same way as the original Pineapple, i.e. Original Dark Plantation Rum is mixed with the pulp of juicy pineapple to form the so-called 'infusion'. The pineapple peels are also used; they are marinated in the Plantation 3 Stars white rum and after a certain time distilled again in the Ferrand copper pot stills. Finally, the infusion is blended with the distillate and matured for four to six months in 'Teeling peated whisky casks'. Teeling is a newly opened whisky distillery in Dublin with which Maison Ferrand maintains good contacts and with which they have already cooperated on one or two Plantation rums. Taste Here you can look forward to a super fruity, rich rum through and through. On the palate there is an explosion of taste from tropical fruits. Citrus notes in the background are accompanied by light peat smoke notes. A very harmonious rum, which develops an intense smoky note in the finish.

Two Drifters Lightly Spiced 0,7L 40%
Two Drifters Lightly Spiced 0.7L 40% Two Drifters Rum Distillery Unlike the majority of British 'rum distilleries', which buy rum from the Caribbean or South America and then blend or bottle it, the Two Drifters distillery produces its own rum. This means Two Drifters can guarantee complete control over the production process - from growing the sugar cane and delivering the molasses to the finished product. Particular emphasis is also placed on triple distillation, which produces a much softer, more flavorful rum. Lightly Spiced The 'Lightly Spiced' version of the Two Drifters Rum promises, as the name might suggest, a lightly spiced rum. In addition to vanilla, spices such as cloves, star anise and cardamom as well as pepper provide a light chai tea flavor.

Two Drifters Overproof Spiced Pineapple 0,7L 60%
Two Drifters Overproof Spiced Pineapple 0.7L 60% Low Co2 foodprint The 'green footprint' is particularly important for the Two Drifters company. Of course, all of the distillery's equipment runs on electricity, but it is important to the company that the energy supply comes from renewable energies, which reduces the Co2 footprint by around 1/3 compared to other distilleries. The production of Two Drifters Rum It is also important at Two Drifters to have control over every single production process. First, a mixture is made that is based on a certain percentage of 'dunder' from the last fermentation. Molasses, yeast, water and certain nutrients are added and this mixture is then fermented for seven days. This is followed by triple distillation, followed by dilution to drinking strength with purified Devon water. Overproof Spiced Pineapple The Overproof Spiced Pineapple rum, which is made from rum, tastes exactly what the name suggests. Juicy, sweet pineapple clearly plays the main role here and is accompanied by subtle spice notes such as cinnamon and pepper. Other notes of vanilla and salted caramel can be detected in the background.
