The Demons Share 12 Years Rum of Panama 0.7L 41% Set with 2 Glasses The Demons Share Some whisky lovers may rub their eyes in surprise at this name, because usually only the so-called "Angel's Share" is known in the whisky scene. But rest assured that this name was chosen with full intention. For those who are not familiar with the term "Angel's Share", here is a brief explanation: During production and storage in oak barrels, part of the whisky evaporates, it escapes into the air, so to speak, or, to put it more poetically, it "ascends to heaven". In this way, even the angels can treat themselves to a sip of whisky. The founder of the brand "The Demons Share", Marco Savio, however, asked himself the question: why should only the angels have something to do with it? After all, they already enjoy wine and ambrosia to the fullest. So he quickly turned the tables and gave his whisky the name "The Demons Share". Premium Rum of Panama 12 Years The impressive 12-year-old rum with its mahogany-colored reflections immediately catches the eye when you look at the glass. The nose is initially surrounded by familiar rum aromas, accompanied by exotic and local fruits such as apples and pears as well as subtle nuances of orange zest, cocoa and tobacco. The first sip reveals further spice notes on the palate, especially liquorice, cinnamon and vanilla, which give the rum a pleasant depth. The finish surprises with new aromas such as roasted coffee and cardamom, which skilfully round off the taste experience.

The Demons Share 6 Years Rum of Panama 0.7L 40% Set with Tin Cans "The Demons Share" is the counterpart to the well-known term "Angels Share", which is particularly common in whisky production. While the Angels Share refers to the part of the distillate that is lost through evaporation during years of storage and symbolically rises to the angels, Marco Savio thought when founding his distillery and brand why only the angels should benefit from it. Without further ado, he named his rum brand "The Demons Share" to pay tribute to the demon realm as well. The Demons Share 6 Years Rum of Panama Set in Tin Can 0.7L 40% is distilled using the column still method and matures for six years in American oak barrels. Its rich amber color invites you to discover the sweet notes of vanilla and refreshing citrus fruit, accompanied by a hint of oak and green apple. As it progresses, it reveals a variety of spicy aromas that pamper the palate. A long-lasting finish rounds off this special pleasure experience.

The Demons Share 15 Years Rum of Panama 0.7L 43% "The Demons Share" is the counterpart to the well-known concept of the "Angels Share", which is particularly well-known in whisky production. While the Angels Share describes the part of the distillate that is lost through evaporation during long storage and symbolically rises to the angels, Marco Savio decided to pay tribute to the demon realm when founding his distillery and brand. So the rum brand "The Demons Share" was quickly created to give these mystical powers their rightful place. Immersed in a dark mahogany tone, The Demons Share 15 Years Rum of Panama 0.7L 43% presents itself in all its glory. Its intense aroma reveals a variety of nuances, including the fresh peel of mandarin oranges, rich fruit compote, a hint of pepper and a touch of toffee. On the palate, an abundance of citrus fruits unfolds, accompanied by candied fruit and a balanced blend of spices, including black pepper and anise. The finish is long and gives the palate a smooth finish.

Gin Gold 999.9, 0.7 liter 40% set including glass The history of the Paul Devoille distillery You can't tell at first glance that Gin Gold 999.9 is produced in a small, very artisanal distillery in France. To be more precise, it is the Paul Devoille distillery, which is located in the town of Fougerolles near the border with Switzerland and Germany. Although Fougerolles has just 4,000 inhabitants, the town is well known to many spirits lovers. This is due to the high quality of the absinthes and fruit brandies that have been produced there by various distilleries for centuries. One of these distilleries is the Paul Devoille distillery, which was founded in 1859 by the entrepreneur and master distiller of the same name. The distillery is still family-owned today and the recipes used for the various absinthes mostly come from the founder's recipe books. These are on display, along with many other historical objects, in the MUSEE DES EAUX DE VIE in Lapoutroie (Alsace), which is also run by the family. In addition to classic spirits such as fruit brandy and absinthe, the Paul Devoille distillery has always been known for its innovative new creations. For example, they also produce fruits preserved in alcohol, spirits in cigar tubes and, most recently, gin. The Gin Gold 999.9 The story behind the Gin Gold 999.9 is pretty spectacular. At the end of the 20th century, excavations took place in Alsace, during which a still made of gold was discovered. Since the archaeologists saw no historical value in it, they sold the special still to a local distiller, who spent the next few years developing a "perfect" gin with the help of the golden still. He chose mandarins, vanilla and almonds as ingredients, among others. This resulted in a special gin that was significantly different from previously known products. Gin Gold 999.9 was born! The gin is now produced at the Paul Devoille distillery according to this recipe. The taste of Gin Gold 999.9 Such an unusual gin naturally arouses curiosity and invites you to try it. In addition to juniper, the nose reveals fine aromas of mandarin, ginger, violet and vanilla. On the palate, Gin 999.9 impresses with the taste of freshly cut flowers, almond and angelica root. Gin Gold 999.9 is best served as a long drink without the addition of lemon zest - this would mask the delicate taste of the mandarin.

Espero Creole Coconut & Rum 0.2L 40% The origin of Ron Espero's Creole Coconut & Rum lies in the Dominican Republic, an island state between the Atlantic and the Caribbean, which shares the island of Hispaniola with the state of Haiti. Although the island is one of the pioneers in the cultivation of sugar cane - a sugar mill existed as early as 1516 - it is often overlooked by rum enthusiasts. This may be due, among other things, to the fact that the Dominican Republic operated a pre-industrial agricultural economy before it was incorporated into the American sugar empire at the end of the 19th century. Like Puerto Rico and Cuba, the country was subject to strict fiscal controls in North America in the 1930s, and the economy was dominated by huge sugar companies that exported most of the rum it produced to Europe. The brutal dictatorship under Rafael Leónidas Trujillo Molina until the 1960s brought further challenges for the rum producers based in the Dominican Republic. In recent decades, however, not only has tourism grown, but the rum brands of the Dominican Republic have also gained international recognition. Brands such as Brugal and Barceló are helping to further strengthen the reputation of rums from the Dominican Republic. Espero Creole Coconut & Rum 0.2L 40% is based on various rums with an average age of 7 years. These rums mature in oak barrels, are blended using the Solera method and then finely sweetened to refine the Espero Creole Coconut & Rum. This impresses with a subtle sweetness and elegantly integrated, pure coconut aromas that caress the nose and palate. In addition to the coconut aromas, there are subtle nuances of vanilla, dried fruit and banana. Whether enjoyed slightly chilled or in cocktails, the Espero Creole Coconut & Rum always cuts a fine figure!

Loimu Glögi 2022 0.75L 15% Lignell & Piispanen The small family distillery from Finland has been producing high-quality spirits for years, including various berry liqueurs and vodka. A particular annual highlight of the distillery is the vintage Glögg, which is being released again this year. Every year, the strong red wine that serves as the base is refined with various berries. For the 2022 vintage, cloudberries and rosy-cheeked apples were chosen. These were further refined by the addition of winter spices. Michler's Jamaican Artisanal Dark Rum 0.7L 40% incl. cup The origins of the British distillery lie in Silesia, an area that was once part of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy and is now mostly in Poland. In 1863, Albert Michler founded his liqueur and spirits factory in Buchsdorf and quickly made a name for himself throughout the empire and kingdom for his distillates. In addition to local herbal distillates, his products also included imported rums from the Caribbean, and he was one of the first traders to bring exotic spirits to Europe. One outstanding recognition was his appointment as official supplier to the imperial and royal court, making Michler the rum supplier to the royal army. Although the distillery is now based in England, the spirit of the founder lives on in the bottles. The dark rum is made from various distillates, with the mash always coming from original Jamaican sugar cane. The rum from this mash is distilled using the traditional pot still method, which is done in batches due to the small stills and increases the quality of the distilled product. After 5 to 25 years of maturation in white oak barrels, the Artisanal Dark Rum is blended by experienced Caribbean distillers. The result is a wonderful dark rum that clearly shows its Jamaican origins. The distillate is round, balanced and yet strong in taste, thanks to the spirits that are up to 25 years old. It combines spicy wood notes from the oak barrels, fruity-sweet grapes and appealing nuances of sugar cane molasses to create a harmonious, dark beauty.
