Glengoyne Single Malt Whisky 12 Years Time Keeper Set with Glass 0.7L 43% Glengoyne The Scottish Glengoyne whisky distillery also has a long history. It was founded in 1833 by a local farmer named Georg Connell. Initially, the illegal distillery was operated under the name 'Burnfoot Distillery' until it was finally given its current name 'Glengoyne' at the beginning of the 20th century. 12 Years Time Keeper Set with Glass 'Time is a gift' - is the company's advertising slogan for this great gift set. At the distillery, this refers both to the production process, for which people like to take their time, and to the enjoyment of the finished product. The 12-year maturation takes place in both bourbon and sherry casks in the traditional warehouses, which, unlike the distillery itself, are located in the Lowlands. These consist of moist clay soils, which create a special climate for storage. This means that a perfect balance between fresh notes and the typically soft character of the Glengoyne could be created over the maturation period.

Foxdenton Christmas Liqueur 0.05L 19.5% Foxdenton Estate The estate is said to have been owned by the Radclyff family since 1569, but the distillery as we know it today was not founded until 1935. After the death of founder Alexander, the company was passed on to his son Nicohlas Radclyff in 2001. However, the family-run company has always had the same goal: To produce gin and fruit gin products that reflect the authentic style of the English country. To do this, they only use products that come from English agriculture wherever possible. Seasonal products are also an important point in the production of Radclyff's. Christmas notes The basis here is again the London Dry Gin from Foxdenton. This time it has been refined with ripe plums and a whole basket of spices. These include cinnamon, cloves and star anise, as well as oriental spices such as ginger and cardamom, which we would also classify as 'Christmas spices' in our latitudes. There are also aromatic Winslow plums, which provide a wonderfully fruity aroma. Now also available in miniature. Makes a great little gift in a homemade Advent calendar.

Nolet Dry Gin Silver Set including glass 0.7L 47.6% Dutch family business With know-how spanning over 325 years of family history, the Dutch distillery offers spirits of the highest quality. The Nolet family has been running the distillery for 11 generations and is based in Schiedam, very close to Rotterdam, and is therefore perfectly connected to shipping traffic. Nolet's Silver Dry Gin The gin from the family distillery in the Netherlands is by far one of the best gins in the world. The botanicals used set it apart from the crowd and give it an exquisite aroma. The exceptional botanicals include Turkish rose petals, peaches and aromatic raspberries. This special recipe for the gin was developed by the 10th and 11th generations together. It is very complex and time-consuming. Production begins with the preparation of separate macerates: firstly, herbs and other botanicals are soaked in alcohol, while secondly white peach, ripe raspberries and spices such as saffron and verbena are also macerated. These are then also distilled separately before being combined. Nolet Gin in a gift set with balloon glass The aroma of the white peach and the sweetness of the ripe raspberries in particular characterize the taste experience of the gin. It initially seems very strong on the palate, but this quickly develops into a soft and smooth drinking experience. The notes of the herbs remain elegantly in the background the whole time, allowing the fruity, sweet notes to take precedence. The 0.7l bottle of the harmoniously fruity Nolet's Gin comes with a matching balloon glass.

Aperol Spritz Set (Aperol 1.0L + Cinzano Prosecco 0.75L) 11% Davide Campari Milano Aperol has been around since the beginning of the 20th century. Back then, the brothers developed the aperitif especially for the international trade fair in Padua and the name is based on the French word 'aperitif'. Aperol is an Italian liqueur that can best be described as having a fruity, bitter taste. Herbs used in the liqueur include bitter orange, yellow gentian and cinchona bark. It is mostly used in cocktails, but can also be served as an aperitif. The most well-known cocktail with Aperol is probably the 'Aperol Spritz', but there are many other variations that are worth trying. An example: Caipirol – is a type of Caipirinha, only instead of the usual Cachaca Aperol is used: 8cl Aperol 3cl lime juice 1 lime, cut into eighths 2 tbsp brown cane sugar Crush the lime pieces together with the brown sugar in a glass. Fill the glass with crushed ice. Then add the Aperol & lime juice. If you like, you can make everything a little more fizzy with soda water. Mix with a bar spoon and enjoy! Our set, however, is really best suited for the well-known Aperol Spitz, because in addition to the 1 liter bottle of Aperol you get a bottle of the equally well-known Prosecco Cinzano!

Dos Maderas Rum Set Seleccion with 2 glasses 0.7L 42% With the Dos Maderas Seleccion Rum we have once again a very special gem from Bodegas William & Humbert. The Dos Maderas Rum Seleccion is a blend of the Dos Maderas collection. The basis is the Dos Maderas 5+5 PX. Certain barrels are selected from this rum. These are then married with various other blends of the original 10 year old rum from Barbados and Guyana. In the Solera process, the rum is allowed to mature for up to ten years in ex-bourbon barrels made of American white oak. The taste This rum combines excellent and noble aromas of an old classic rum with clear notes of sherry oak. A pleasant sweetness from the base rum, the Dos Maderas 5+5 PX, can be tasted well. These aromas are complemented by smoky top notes from storage in bourbon barrels. A sweet and well-balanced finish that stays in the memory for a long time. The Dos Maderas Seleccion Bodegas William & Humbert impresses with a reddish, brown, almost mahogany-colored appearance. With an alcohol content of 42% vol., this blend of 10-year-old rums is a little milder and less sweet. It is ideal for pure enjoyment.

Malteco Rum Seleccion 1990 0.7L 40% The Ron Malteco Seleccion 1990 One of the rarest rums of the house is the Ron Malteco Seleccion 1990, of which we only have a few bottles available and which is highly valued by both collectors and connoisseurs. The Ron Malteco Seleccion 1990 was stored in selected oak barrels at an altitude of over 2,000 m. In these extremely high warehouses, the air contains less oxygen, which means that the rum matures differently than at sea level and therefore has a significantly different taste profile. The Ron Malteco Seleccion 1990 rum shows fine notes of fruits such as papaya, banana and apricot as well as nuances of vanilla, oak and caramel on the nose and palate. The very long aftertaste is permeated with dried fruit aromas and a slight astringency, which brings the enjoyment to a high-quality conclusion. The Ron Malteco Seleccion 1990 is delivered in a high-quality box that looks good in any bar and on any shelf. We recommend enjoying the Ron Malteco Seleccion 1990 neat.

Killepitsch Bitter, 12 miniatures in a metal can 0.02l 42% Good things from Düsseldorf Although the quality of Düsseldorf beer is a matter of debate, at least in the Rhineland region, there is one that is even enjoyed in Cologne: the famous Düsseldorf herbal liqueur Killepitsch. This has been made for over 40 years from the essences of 98 different berries, herbs and fruits. These mature for a whole year in ancient clay vessels and are finally bottled in the distinctive Killepitsch bottle. The exact recipe is still a family secret and is passed down from generation to generation. In order to guarantee a consistently high level of quality, only natural raw materials are used. In addition to the herbs and spices, this is a double-filtered alcohol. From the bomb shelter to the bars of the world The Killepitsch has its origins in an air raid shelter. Old friends Hans Müller-Schlösser, the creator of the "Schneider Wibbel", and the Düsseldorf veteran Willi Busch were once again huddled there. While the "bombs" were falling outside, Willi said to Hans, "If it goes like that again, then they'll kill us too." Hans replied, "But not Willi, before the two of us have had another tasty one." The two of them were not able to "pitschen" any more that evening, but as they survived the "bomb" attack unscathed, they still had enough time. The innkeeper Hans Müller-Schlösser tried out numerous recipes and finally served his friend a homemade bitters at the opening of his tasting room "Et Kabüffke". The two friends called it "Killepitsch" in memory of the nights they spent together in the bunker. The "strong, not sloppy, not that good" liqueur quickly spread throughout the Rhineland and eventually to the rest of Germany. Kill the Bitch It's nothing new that German herbal liqueurs are very popular in the USA. Jägermeister now makes 40% of its sales in the USA - more than in Germany or any other country! Killepitsch is also becoming increasingly popular with Americans. However, since they have always had problems with the German language, Killepitsch is called "Kill the Bitch" there. "Kill the Bitch" is enjoyed in America neat or as Pink Pussy Juice. This is 2 cl Killepitsch with 4 cl pink grapefruit juice on ice cubes. Dirty, but Nice!

Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 years in a gift set including 2 glasses The history and production of Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 The Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 is no ordinary rum. The story of the Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 begins in the Caribbean. There, the individual rums for the Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 are distilled from the best sugar cane in Guyana and Barbados. Guyana and Barbados represent a centuries-old rum tradition. While Guyana is known for very powerful, intense rums, the rums from Barbados are characterized by their fine, aromatic nuances. After the individual rums for the Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 have been blended by master hands, they mature for at least five years in the tropical temperatures of the Caribbean. Barrels made of American white oak are used for storage; they are particularly popular because of their mild aroma. After this initial storage period, the Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 is imported by Williams & Humbert to Jerez in Andalusia, Spain. Here the Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 is matured for a further three years in barrels that once contained the best sherry. The Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 is finished for two years in former Pedro Ximinez (PX) sherry barrels, the high-quality contents of which remained in the barrel for over 20 years. This unusual and very exclusive maturation process gives the Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 its unusual and very fine aroma! The taste of the Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 The unusual storage of the Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 is naturally also reflected in the taste. The Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 has intense dried fruit aromas on the nose, such as peach, dates and figs. On the palate, the Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 has subtle notes of vanilla, nuts, orange peel and a distinct sweetness. The aftertaste of the Dos Maderas Rum PX 5 + 5 is very fine, elegant and immensely long. A great rum!

St. George Combo Gin Set 3 x 0.2L 45% St. George Spirits – Craft Spirits made in USA St. George Spirits was founded in 1982 by the German Jörg Rupf. In the USA, the company is known above all for the exceptional quality of the spirits produced there using artisanal methods. For example, Rupf established high-quality fruit brandies, the production of which he had learned in his homeland in the Black Forest, in the Golden State of California. But the first absinthe produced in the USA after it was banned in 1912 also flowed from Jörg Rupf's stills. The young master distillers Lance Winters and Dave Smith are now in charge and have particularly impressed with exciting gins in recent years. The three gins produced by St. George Spirits are available here in a practical sample package with a 0.2 L sample bottle of each variety. The St. George Terroir Gin The St. George Spirits Terroir Gin is a tribute to the nature of the Golden State of California. These include particularly woody and earthy aromas, which are integrated into the Terroir Gin using unusual ingredients. The "aroma of the forest", for example, is achieved through the use of Douglas fir sprouts, while coriander seeds roasted in the wok(!) provide earthy nuances. A thoroughly unusual gin that is worth trying! The St. George Botanivore Gin “Botanivore” means “botanical eater” and that is exactly what the St. George Botanivore Gin is. A total of 19 different botanicals go into the distillation apparatus. St. George Spirits is kind enough to mention all of them on their homepage, which is a rarity for gin producers these days. The herbs and spices used are: juniper, violet root, angelica root, hops, cinnamon, dill seeds, coriander, fennel seeds, ginger, bergamot, lemon, lime and Seville orange peel, bay leaves, caraway, cardamom, black peppercorns and star anise. An unusual but very well-harmonised potpourri of flavours! The St. George Dry Rye Gin The St. George Dry Rye Gin is aimed at whiskey lovers among gin connoisseurs. In addition to six botanicals, most notably juniper, the malty taste of a fresh rye brandy is the main focus. Similar to a genever, but noticeably different. Other flavouring ingredients are: grapefruit and lime peel, black peppercorns, coriander and caraway. In addition to classic gin cocktails, it is also suitable for drinks based on rye whiskey! An exciting set that we can recommend without reservation!
