In the motherland of gin, England, a distillate made from grain is usually used, or in Germany, for example, from potatoes, but the Tokyo Nights Japanese Gin has a completely different base alcohol. For this, molasses is distilled from sugar cane, as is usually the case with rum.
The Tokyo Nights Japanese Gin takes the taster into the nightlife of Tokyo, where you can experience something special around the clock.
In addition to classic spices and herbs such as juniper, the gin itself contains some unknown local botanicals that are typical for Japan. These are macerated in the base alcohol to create an intense aroma.
The taste of the Japanese gin is well balanced and, in addition to the classic juniper notes, impresses with spicy and herbal notes. Slightly fruity undertones are also noticeable, here they probably come from local citrus fruits such as yuzu or similar.
