This fine rum from the Carony Distillery in Trinidad was selected for the "The Secret Treasures of the Caribbean" edition.
Only 1304 bottles were filled from this single cask bottling from casks 11/60/115, which were distilled in 1996 and matured in oak casks until 2003.

The color is a rich gold. On the nose it is strong and intense with delicate caramel tones. The Secret Treasures Old Trinidad Rum Vintage 1996 is sweet and caramel-like on the palate, with a light oak note.
The aftertaste is long and persistent with spicy finesse.
