Pusser's Rum Black Label Gunpowder Proof 0.05L 54.5%

Pussers Rum has a long tradition that is closely linked to British naval service. In the past, marines on board the Royal Navy received a rum ration every day at 12 noon, called "tot", consisting of 70 ml of rum with 54.5% alcohol by volume. The tradition ended in 1970 due to health concerns. Nine years later, Pussers Rum Ltd. was founded to revive the historic rum blend. Since then, the company has produced authentic Navy Rum with various alcohol strengths under the name Pusser's Rum. The label design of the standard range was recently revised, with the classic Pussers British Navy Rum with 40% alcohol by volume now appearing in navy blue. The Navy Strength Rum with 54.5% ABV is now marketed as Pussers Black Label Gunpowder Proof with a black and gold label to avoid confusion. The Pussers Black Label Gunpowder Proof owes its name to an interesting story: Sailors of the Royal Navy checked the alcohol content of their rum ration by mixing it with gunpowder and setting it on fire. Only when the mixture burned did the rum have the prescribed alcohol strength of 54.5% ABV.

This Pusser's Rum Black Label Gunpowder Proof 0.05L 54.5% has a dark, amber-like color and exudes a rich, pleasantly sweet bouquet with intense aromas of vanilla, caramel, candied orange peel, toffee and tropical fruits. It is strong and full-bodied on the palate, with a variety of flavors such as vanilla, caramel candies, spices, bananas, mangos and apricots. The long finish reveals additional aromas of oak spice, tobacco and leather.

The Pussers Black Label Gunpowder Proof is ideal for various mixed drinks and cocktails, especially the famous Painkiller, thanks to its intensity and variety of aromas.

Dos Maderas Rum Luxus Miniatur 0,05L 40%
Dos Maderas Rum Luxus Miniature 0,05L 40%
Dos Maderas Rum Luxury Miniature 0.05L 40% Origin, production and blending The birthplace, so to speak, is, not surprisingly, the Caribbean. Rum lovers know that if you want a particularly fine tipple, you should go for one of these. And if you then go for a Dos Maderas rum, you have done everything right. The company Williams & Humbert, based in Spain, is responsible for this quality rum. It has existed since the 1970s and originally specialized in sherry and brandy. The name of this rum gives you an idea of the special secret behind every Dos Maderas rum. 'Two woods' means 'dos Maderas' and tells us that two different types of wood are used for storage. After the first maturation phase of 10 years in the Caribbean climate, the rum is shipped to Spain, where it is filled into old Don Guido sherry casks and then left to develop its aromas for a further 5 years in the bodega in the Jerez region. It is stored using the Solera process until the rum is finally bottled at 40% ABV. Ultimately, however, the special taste of a bottle or glass is only thanks to one person, namely the blender. He is really in a class of his own and has to go about his work with a great deal of attention to detail, experience and, above all, passion. He carefully selects the different rums and combines them in perfectly balanced proportions. This long journey to the Dos Maderas luxury rum also shows how much passion the producers of Williams & Humbert are behind their rum creations Exclusive taste On the palate, the noble Dos Maderas luxury rum surprises with perfectly balanced aromas of dried fruit, an almond aroma reminiscent of marzipan and a hint of vanilla and honey. It has a pleasant sweetness that it achieves through storage in old sherry barrels. The finish is soft, round and spicy, definitely a rum with a lot of expressiveness!

Malteco Rum 15 Jahre 0,05L
Malteco Rum 15 Yo 0,05L 40%
Malteco Rum 15 Years 0.05L 40% South American Rum Yes, good rum does not always come from the Caribbean. Good rums can also be found in Latin America. In fact, more sugar cane liquor is produced and brought to market here than anywhere else. There are of course some differences in what we consider to be rum, but on the whole they are quite similar. Ron Malteco The dark amber-colored 15-year-old Malteco rum, like its other siblings, matures in specially selected oak barrels. The special climatic conditions help the rum to develop a special aroma. Sweet vanilla aromas are the first thing that reaches the nose when the bottle is opened. On the palate, notes of toffee, chocolate and vanilla combine with fruity hints of plum and coconut to create a harmonious taste. Compared to the 10-year-old, the aromas here are a little stronger, but not too overwhelming. Malteco 15 years impresses with a fine, long-lasting finish. To give you a taste, we have added the miniature version of Malteco 15 years to our range.

La Hechicera Extra Anejo Rum 0,05L 40%
La Hechicera Extra Anejo Rum 0,05L 40%
La Hechicera Extra Anejo Rum 0.05L 40% In Germany, rum is often associated exclusively with the Caribbean. But this perspective is more the result of the marketing of large corporations, because the largest producer of sugar cane spirits in the world is South America. From Mexico to Patagonia, rum and related products are the preferred spirit, which means that there are a variety of different rum styles on the South American continent. Colombian rum is particularly popular with connoisseurs. Colombian rum is often described as medium-heavy in body and fruity-chocolatey in taste. A well-known example is Dictador Rum, and the XO variants of this first-class rum in particular are highly praised by experts and connoisseurs. For several years, however, another Colombian rum has been fighting for the top position - La Hechicera Rum. La Hechicera Rum is produced in a part of Colombia that borders the Caribbean Sea and is exposed to similar climatic conditions as the famous Caribbean rums. The La Hechicera Extra Anejo Rum 0.05L 40%, distilled from molasses, matures for 12-21 years in American white oak barrels. The name is derived from the Spanish word "enchantress". And this rum also presents itself magically in the glass, with a color reminiscent of maple syrup. On the nose, it reveals elegant aromas of orange peel, toffee, wood and vanilla. On the palate, it unfolds an impressive complexity with explosive aromas of tobacco, roasted coffee, dark chocolate, walnuts and apricot. The finish is surprisingly mild and long. La Hechicera is definitely a rum that should be enjoyed neat or slightly chilled and is ideal as a digestif or accompaniment to a medium-strength Colombian cigar.

Pusser's Rum British Navy Rum 0,05L 40%
Pusser's Rum British Navy Rum 0.05L 40% Pusser's British Navy Rum has a rich tradition and is a premium blend with a long history. Since the conquest of Jamaica by the English fleet in 1655, the daily "Tots" of Rum was common practice in the Royal Navy. This tradition, carried out by an official called a "Purser" (colloquially "PUSSER"), served to provide moral support to sailors and was part of English seafaring tradition until 1970. However, with the advancement of technology and the increased risks associated with it, state-mandated drunkenness was curbed. Previously reserved exclusively for the Royal Navy, Pusser's Rum is now also available to landlubbers. Pusser's Rum British Navy Rum 0.05L 40% is made from a blend of six individual rums produced on various Caribbean islands, including the British Virgin Islands, Trinidad and Guyana. It impresses with its sweet bouquet and notes of caramel and spices.
