Albert Michler Distillery

The Albert Michler distillery was founded in 1863 in Silesia, in a part of what is now the Czech Republic, and is therefore one of the oldest distilleries and rum houses. At that time, the company was primarily responsible for serving as a supplier to the imperial court and for the navy. Today, the company is primarily responsible for importing high-quality rum from Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago.

Old Bert classic Spiced Recipe No. 140

This premium spirit from the Albert Michler distillery is made with pot-still rum from Jamaica, which is then refined with various spices. The spices used include classic components such as vanilla, cinnamon or cloves, as well as some exotic ones such as ginger or Persian lime. This creates a well-rounded taste with notes of toffee, tropical fruits and a fine spice aroma.

The label winds around the body of the bottle and shows an image of old Bert with a top hat. 'Old Bert' refers to none other than founder Albert Michler, who was given this nickname by his closest friends. The images around it reflect the 'virtual world' as Bert sees it.
