Product information "Gordons Gin The Original, 1,0 L, 37,5%"

Gordon's Gin The Original 1.0L 37.5%

Gordon's Gin is the world's best-selling London Dry Gin. And that's despite the fact that it was developed by a Scotsman. In 1769, Alexander Gordon developed the recipe, which has remained unchanged to this day and is said to be known to only twelve people worldwide. It is known that eight different botanicals are used for Gordon's. These include the hand-picked juniper, which gives it its flavor, as well as coriander seeds, angelica root and five other secret ingredients.

Even James Bond appreciated the quality of this gin. In Casino Royale, he specifically orders his Vesper cocktail with Gordon's Gin. From Gin & Tonic to Martini Cocktail, an excellent choice!

Gordon's Dry Gin Miniature 0.05L 37.5% The 250-year-old distillery still produces excellent gin today. With great attention to detail and the finest ingredients, Alexander Gordon began creating a gin with a very high juniper content in his London distillery in the Southwark district in 1769. The district itself was also an important location for Gordon, as it was known for its excellent, clean water, which was needed as a base for the alcohol. A good twenty years after the company was founded, the company moved to Goswell Road in Clerkenwell. Even today, Gordon's Gin is still produced under license in the Scottish Cameronbridge distillery and at other locations worldwide. From the 19th century, Gordon's Gin also supplied the Royal Navy. In the early 19th century, the company quickly became a purveyor to the Royals, including King George V and the Prince of Wales, as well as Queen Elizabeth II and her mother, Queen Mum. Gordon's Gin has always stood for an expressive juniper taste and is very popular with gin lovers. It is ideal for a fine gin and tonic, with a wedge of lime or in a cocktail.

Gordons Sicilian Lemon Gin 1,0L 37,5%
Gordons Sicilian Lemon Gin 1.0L 37.5% Over 250 years of Gordons Gin To produce a high-quality spirit, you need not only your own high standards for the product but also the perfect ingredients. When Alexander Gordon turned his passion into a vocation, this was exactly what motivated him to find the ideal location right from the start. He chose the London district of Southwark, which is known for its very clean water. He trained in the art of distilling and developed his very own gin with a strong character. This has always been characterized by its strong juniper note - a typical London Dry Gin - and is therefore the ideal gin for the most famous long drink, 'gin and tonic'. The distillery has been located on Goswell Road in the Clerkenwell district since 1786. Even the Royal Navy and even, since 1925, the Royal Court in England could not resist this classic gin, and Gordons has been a purveyor to the court ever since. Charles Tanqueray & Co. took over the patronage of the distillery in 1898, and since then the full name of the distillery has been 'Tanqueray Gordons & Co. Gin with a summery touch The brand's Sicilian Lemon Gin is a flavored gin that has been given a Mediterranean makeover. It has a bright yellow color and has been refined with lemons from Sicily. These fresh notes complement the zesty juniper flavor that is typical of Gordon. On the palate, these familiar juniper notes quickly change to fresh, juicy lemon notes. This is mixed with the taste of grapefruit and candied lemon zest. In the background there is a certain spicy note reminiscent of thyme.
