This has always been characterized by its strong juniper note - a typical London Dry Gin - and is therefore the ideal gin for the most famous long drink, 'gin and tonic'. Charles Tanqueray & Co. took over the patronage of the distillery in 1898, and since then the full name of the distillery has been 'Tanqueray Gordons & Co. Gin with a summery touch The brand's Sicilian Lemon Gin is a flavored gin that has been given a Mediterranean makeover. It has a bright yellow color and has been refined with lemons from Sicily. These fresh notes complement the zesty juniper flavor that is typical of Gordon. On the palate, these familiar juniper notes quickly change to fresh, juicy lemon notes. This is mixed with the taste of grapefruit and candied lemon zest. In the background there is a certain spicy note reminiscent of thyme.
