Deadhead Rum is produced in Mexico. Tropical Veracruz is one of 31 states and is known for its many mountains, caves, abundant rain and, above all, for the huge sugar cane plantations from which rum is made. The rums produced there are among the best in the world. Deadhead Rum is made from a mixture of sugar cane juice and molasses in small batches and with slow fermentation. It is then distilled twice in copper kettles. The rum is produced with the utmost care and, after distillation, is allowed to mature for 6 years in selected oak barrels using the Solera system. This means that when the six-year-old rum is bottled, the barrel is only half emptied and refilled with three-year-old rum that is stored on a higher level. These, in turn, are filled up with one-year-old rum, and the barrels are finally filled with new rum. This process ensures consistently good taste..

Deadhead Dark Chocolate Rum
Deadhead Dark Chocolate Rum is another product from Iconic Brands Inc.
It was developed by founder Kim Brandi. She wanted to combine the best rum with the finest cocoa in the States. After the maturation process, the Deadhead Rum for the Dark Chocolate Liqueur is flavored with the finest chocolate made from roasted cocoa beans from the region and left to rest for a further sixty days. This careful process enhances the existing qualities of the aged rum. In this way, they create a perfect balance between chocolate and rum.
Just like for the Deadhead Rum, the producers have come up with a very special design for the Dark Chocolate Liqueur. It is presented in a 0.7 liter monkey-shaped bottle, a tribute to the spiritual beliefs of the Mayan and Aztec cultures.

Taste:

Connoisseurs will get their money's worth here:
The full-bodied liqueur has exactly the expected notes of dark chocolate, coffee and brown sugar, a well-balanced taste between rum and chocolate.
Pleasantly creamy with notes of caramel and vanilla, the wonderful taste remains for a long time.

Overall, a very balanced liqueur that is not artificial, but completely natural with notes of cocoa and yet does not overpower the wonderful rum.

Xtabentun D'Aristi 0,7L 30%
Xtabentun D'Aristi, 0,7L 30%
Xtabentun D'Aristi, 0.7L 30% Background to Xtabentun d'Aristi: Xtabentun (Turbina corymbosa) is a climbing plant that is native to Central America, especially Mexico. It was already known to the Mayas and Aztecs and was used there as a ritual drug and medicinal plant. The indigenous people ground the seeds and let them swell in agave beer. The resulting drink had an intoxicating effect and put the consumer into a trance-like state. In addition, memory was significantly increased, which allowed participants in the ritual gatherings to go back to their childhood. The Indians also believed that by consuming the drug they could leave their bodies to speak to spirits and demons and, if necessary, chase them away. The Mayans also used the honey from the Xtabentun plant to prepare an alcoholic drink which they called Balché. To do this, they mixed the honey, water and the bark of the Balché tree and left it to ferment. The Spanish "conquistadores", however, did not particularly like the taste of the Blaché and used aniseed instead of the tree bark. A liqueur called Xtabentun d'Aristi is still produced today in the Mexican Yucatán region, based on this historical drink. The fermented honey from the Xtabentun plant is mixed with aniseed and then topped up with Mexican rum. It probably doesn't need to be explained that Xtabentun d'Aristi does not cause hallucinations and is not subject to narcotics law. The Xtabentun d'Aristi is traditionally served ice cold as a shot or as a "Mayan coffee", for which a cup of freshly brewed, strong coffee is mixed with 3 cl Kahlua, 3 cl Xtabentun d'Aristi and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Tasting the Xtabentun d'Aristi: The Xtabentun d'Aristi has a bright yellow color and a viscous viscosity that is clearly reminiscent of honey. The nose first reveals intense aromas of anise, honey, chocolate cake and candied orange peel. Herbal notes and rum appear in the background. On the tongue, the Xtabentun d'Aristi is very mild and creamy. The mouthfeel is comparable to syrup. There is a pleasant honey sweetness, accompanied by anise, mint and orange marmalade. The Xtabentun d'Aristi remains in the mouth for a long time and becomes dry and spicy over time. The finish is again herbal and long-lasting. The Xtabentun d'Aristi is an extremely exciting product with a unique aroma and taste profile that is not only a real pleasure on its own, but can also be used for numerous tequila or coffee-based cocktail creations.

Monkey Shoulder Smokey Monkey Blended Malt Whisky 0.7L 40% Who is behind Monkey Shoulder? Not many people have heard of this brand yet. But let us tell you that you most likely know the whisky brand behind Monkey Shoulder. The founder of the brand is none other than the well-known company William Grant & Sons! This is therefore a real Scottish whisky and brings together three of the greatest whisky producers under one roof. These three different distilleries and their different characters are also united in the Monkey Shoulder Blended Whisky. The first edition of this blend, the 'Mokey Shoulder', was released in 2005, but this bottling is the 'peated' version. 'Somkey' is absolutely the name of the game with this blend. All blends used are based on peated barley or peated whisky. This taste is more likely to attract connoisseurs than beginners. The smoky character is accompanied on the palate by fruity notes such as orange and a fine sweetness that can also convince beginners.
