Aus frischem Zuckerrohrsaft gewonnen, fermentiert der Rum rund 30 Stunden und wird anschließend in klassischen Kolonnen destilliert. Nach einer ersten Reifung in Eichenholzfässern erhält er ein außergewöhnliches Finish in französischen Single-Malt-Whiskyfässern mit torfiger Prägung.
Diese besondere Nachreifung verleiht dem Rum beeindruckende Tiefe und Komplexität.
