However, the Munich-based company The Bitter Truth has found a solution and brought its Golden Falernum onto the market, a wonderfully exotic and spicy liqueur that makes the authentic mixing of many tropical cocktails and long drinks possible again. This golden-amber liqueur has a fine aroma and taste profile of citrus fruits, ginger, almonds and allspice. Cockspur Old Time Recipe Falernum 1.0L 11% Cockspur Barbados Rum The Danish emigrant Valdemar Hanschell founded the rum brand Cockspur on Barbados in 1884. First, the Cockspur rum is distilled in copper stills using the so-called pot-style process. This is followed by a double distillation using the column-style process, which is intended to produce a lighter, fresher rum. Old Time Recipe Falernum This Falernum is produced according to a tradition that is over 100 years old. The Caribbean spices that provide the fantastic aroma are soaked in the base alcohol, i.e. macerated.
