In concrete terms, this means that the freshly distilled spirits are married together before the actual maturation in the barrels, which with other whiskies usually only happens after the maturation phase has ended. Black Velvet is probably the best known whisky on the market. The great aroma comes into its own, especially when combined with ice cream. We are talking about a slightly sweet taste of vanilla and butterscotch. The aroma of the rye and corn used also finds its way to the taste buds, where a fearsome, tough orange also spreads. The Black Velvet 1L has a long, soft finish.
