The Willet Distilling Company is a family-run whiskey distillery in Bardstown, in the US state of Kentucky. The distillery was founded in 1935, shortly after the end of Prohibition. During the energy crisis in the 1970s, whiskey production was stopped in favor of the production of ethanol fuel. However, the rapid return to normal gasoline prices brought an abrupt end to this initiative.
