Crabbies Yardhead Single Malt Whisky 0,7L 40%
Crabbies Yardhead Single Malt Whisky 0,7L 40%
Crabbies Yardhead Single Malt Whisky 0.7L 40% From the mid-19th century, John Crabbie created his own range of whiskies, not only sourcing significant quantities of Scottish single malt whiskies from renowned distilleries, but also signing licenses to produce his own whiskies at distilleries such as Balmanech and Benrinnes. His influence on the whisky industry extended further, however, as he was instrumental in the establishment of one of Scotland's most renowned grain distilleries, North British, even sitting on the board in its formative years. The company archives testify to far-reaching business activities as far afield as New York, Buenos Aires, Constantinople and St Vincent. Crabbie's glory years stretch back to the 1830s. In an age of pioneering spirit, John Crabbie and his successors displayed a similar confidence to famous explorers who built the British Empire. Using the Port of Leith in Edinburgh as a base, the company shipped its products all over the world, always striving to bring the best products from everywhere to Scotland. Records show that the Crabbie team experimented with a variety of fruits, grains, herbs, spices and spirits to create new and exciting spirits. A story of dedication and mastery is revealed in every sip of Crabbie's Yardhead Single Malt Whisky 0.7L 40%. Carefully matured in bourbon casks and not chill-filtered, this whisky offers an aromatic symphony for the senses. The nose is caressed by soft vanilla, a hint of fresh biscuit and the invigorating freshness of green apples, which arouse anticipation of the first sip. On the palate, a rich interplay of sweet vanilla, refreshing citrus fruit and seductive caramel unfolds, caressing the palate. A hint of spice gives this experience a subtle depth and complexity. On the finish, the fresh citrus fruit is reminiscent of a sunny day in the garden, a refreshing finale that lingers on the palate for a long time. Crabbies Yardhead Single Malt Whisky is more than just a drink - it is a journey through the aromas and flavors that invigorate the senses and delight the soul.

Willett Family Estate Rye Whiskey 3 Jahre 0,05L 54%
Willett Family Estate Rye Whiskey 3 Years 0,05L, 54%
Willett Family Estate Rye Whiskey 3 years 0.05L 54% Background information about the Willet Family Estate Rye Whiskey 3 years: The Willet Distilling Company is a family-run whiskey distillery in Bardstown, in the US state of Kentucky. The distillery was founded in 1935, shortly after the end of Prohibition. During the energy crisis in the 1970s, whiskey production was stopped in favor of the production of ethanol fuel. However, the rapid return to normal gasoline prices brought an abrupt end to this initiative. Luckily, you would think, because since the distillery reopened in 1984, this time under the name KBD: Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, it has produced some excellent bourbon and rye whiskeys. Willet's rye whiskeys in particular are now in great demand around the world. Corresponding qualities with a double-digit age can only be purchased for high three- or four-digit sums and are therefore only affordable for a few people. It is all the more wonderful that Willet regularly releases rye whiskeys from the Family Estate series. These strictly limited special editions, which have been stored for different lengths of time, come onto the market at cask strength and are all characterized by their great combination of strong rye spice and sweet vanilla and caramel notes. The Willet Family Estate Rye Whiskey 3 years is no exception. This exceptional whiskey is made from 100% rye and was stored for 36 months in hand-selected barrels made of American white oak. Despite its comparatively young age, the Willet Family Estate Rye Whiskey 3 years impresses with its complexity and aromatic and flavor intensity. The high alcohol content of 55% vol. also plays a decisive role in this. Fans of the Willet distillery and lovers of strong rye whiskey should therefore definitely snap up the Willet Family Estate Rye Whiskey 3 years while the limited stock lasts. Tasting the Willet Family Estate Rye 3 years: The first thing that surprises you is the deep dark (and absolutely natural) color of the Willet Family Estate Rye Whiskey 3 years. A mixture of bronze, amber and mahogany promises intense barrel aromas even before the first sip. The Willet Family Estate Rye Whiskey 3 years impresses on the nose with an indescribably clear, well-defined rye spice. Freshly baked bread, gingerbread, ground pepper and oak are accompanied by vanilla, caramel, cream toffees and honey. The wonderfully balanced aromas are perfectly coordinated and very appealing. Undiluted, the Willet Family Estate Rye Whiskey 3 years shows its strong side on the palate. The rye spice sweeps over the tongue and creates a real explosion of taste buds. Here, too, a wonderfully interwoven interplay of sweetness and spiciness is evident. The Willet Family Estate Rye Whiskey 3 years tolerates a little water exceptionally well. The aromas open up and become noticeably fruitier. In terms of taste, the rye and oak spices are softened, and overall the Willet Family Estate Rye Whiskey 3 years is softer and gentler. This makes the Willet Family Estate Rye Whiskey 3 years a really successful tipple that underlines the position of the Willet distillery in the long term. Unreserved recommendation.

Aberlour Single Malt Whisky Casg Annamh Batch 4 Non Chill Filtered 1,0L 48%
Aberlour Single Malt Whisky Casg Annamh Batch 4 Non Chill Filtered 1,0L 48%
Aberlour Single Malt Whisky Casg Annamh Batch 4 Non Chill Filtered 1.0L 48% Aberlour The name Aberlour means 'mouth of the Lour' because it was built at the foot of the Lour. The distillery's whiskies are known for their sweet rather than smoky aromas. They mature mainly in sherry or wine casks, which contribute to the fruity-sweet aromas. In 1879, a good 50 years after it was founded, the distillery burned down. It was James Fleming who rebuilt the distillery and kept the most modern distillery of the time alive. Shortly before the turn of the century, in 1898, another fire destroyed most of the Abalour buildings and supplies. Here too, they did not let this get them down and quickly rebuilt the distillery. Aberlour Casg Annamh The name 'Casg Annamh' means 'rare barrel' in Gaelic and probably refers to the storage in the rare Oloroso sherry casks. In addition to this type of cask, the blend also consists of whisky from two different American white oak casks. The use of these two types creates a fine, fruity whisky for which Aberlour is also known. When tasting, the first aromas to emerge on the nose are of blood orange, sweet cherries, fresh ginger and spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied with other fruity notes. Ripe peaches, apple pie with cinnamon and other spices such as cloves and anise. In the finish, the Aberklour Casg Annamh can further develop the impression it leaves behind. It is long-lasting and full-bodied, spices and notes of the barrel types leave a great taste.

Benromach 10 Years Single Malt Whiskey 0.7L 43%
Benromach Single Malt Whisky 10 years 0.7L 43% The Benromach distillery, built in 1898 in Forres near Elgin, was taken over by the Urquhart family in 1993. Their aim was to revive the lost Speyside style with malted barley and a hint of peat smoke. This traditional process dates back to the time when all malthouses in Speyside used peat as fuel, which gave the Benromach whiskies their characteristic taste. The reopening of the distillery in 1998 by Prince Charles marked the return of a lost Speyside single malt style. The distillery relies on tradition and craftsmanship. The highly qualified master distillers rely exclusively on their senses and experience to produce the award-winning handmade whisky. The four ingredients barley, water, yeast and a human touch form the basis. The mash is stirred by hand, water flow and grist are manually controlled and fermentation takes place in larch washbacks. Double distillation in bespoke copper stills produces a medium-strength spirit suitable for variable maturation periods. The quality of the casks, particularly first-fill oak casks after wort with bourbon or sherry, is crucial to the flavour and character of the whisky. The maturation process is strictly controlled to ensure excellent quality standards. The 10-year-old Benromach Single Malt Whisky is a golden amber. Sweet green apple and pear unfold on the nose, accompanied by creamy dark honey. Gentle smoke is accompanied by a development of gentle vanilla notes. On the palate, gentle flavours of malted grain and compote combine with warm toffee and a hint of black cherry. The full-bodied finish presents malty grain and gentle smoke.
