Product information "Benromach 10 Years Single Malt Whiskey 0.7L 43%"

Benromach Single Malt Whisky 10 years 0.7L 43%

The Benromach distillery, built in 1898 in Forres near Elgin, was taken over by the Urquhart family in 1993. Their aim was to revive the lost Speyside style with malted barley and a hint of peat smoke. This traditional process dates back to the time when all malthouses in Speyside used peat as fuel, which gave the Benromach whiskies their characteristic taste. The reopening of the distillery in 1998 by Prince Charles marked the return of a lost Speyside single malt style. The distillery relies on tradition and craftsmanship. The highly qualified master distillers rely exclusively on their senses and experience to produce the award-winning handmade whisky. The four ingredients barley, water, yeast and a human touch form the basis. The mash is stirred by hand, water flow and grist are manually controlled and fermentation takes place in larch washbacks. Double distillation in bespoke copper stills produces a medium-strength spirit suitable for variable maturation periods. The quality of the casks, particularly first-fill oak casks after wort with bourbon or sherry, is crucial to the flavour and character of the whisky. The maturation process is strictly controlled to ensure excellent quality standards.

The 10-year-old Benromach Single Malt Whisky is a golden amber. Sweet green apple and pear unfold on the nose, accompanied by creamy dark honey. Gentle smoke is accompanied by a development of gentle vanilla notes. On the palate, gentle flavours of malted grain and compote combine with warm toffee and a hint of black cherry. The full-bodied finish presents malty grain and gentle smoke.

Bowmore Single Malt Whisky 10 Years Dark and Intense 1.0L 40% Bowmore Distillery The first written mentions of the distillery date back to 1779, but if you believe some of the older generations of islanders, the distillery was already in operation in years before that. What is certain, however, is that the distillery was the first on the island of Islay and has one of the oldest maturation warehouses, the No. 1 Vaults. Whisky has been stored there for over 240 years. They are located right by the sea and some are even below sea level, which gives the Bowmore whiskies a salty toughness compared to other whiskies on the island. 10YO Dark & Intense Malt Whisky The storage in hogsheads and sherry casks from Spain gives the Dark and Intense their reddish, brown amber color. With its daring flavor combinations, the Bowmore Dark & Intense breaks all boundaries. The taste is intended to unite fire and earth and plays on precisely these two elements with spicy sherry tones and the typical Bowmore peat smoke. The nose delights with sun-ripened fruits, including Seville oranges and roasted maple wood. On the palate, dried grapes, a hint of sea salt and the oiliness of dark fruits. Notes of peaty walnut and a fine mixture of different spices also play a significant role.

Deanston 10 Jahre Bordeaux Red Wine Cask Finish 0,7L
Deanston Single Malt Whisky 10 Jahre Bordeaux Red Wine Cask Finish 0,7L 46,3%
Deanston Single Malt Whisky 10 Years Bordeaux Red Wine Cask Finish 0.7L 46.3% A strong community There is a small community behind Deanston and it represents the people who have made the company what it is today. The actual history of the distillery, however, begins in 1785 with an old cotton mill that was opened on the banks of the River Teith by Richard Arkwright. During these years, agriculture changed to industrialisation and Arkwright later became one of the fathers of the industrial revolution. The company developed very well and the number of employees grew. In order not to lose them again, it was necessary to think of accommodation for new employees. This is how the idea came about to build a self-contained village. This has been preserved to this day and continues to form the centre of Deanston. It was not until 1965, when the cotton industry slowly declined, that the number of employees also gradually decreased. Instead of giving up the company altogether, it was also of great value for the community to start anew with a new craft! Deanston 10 YO Bordeaux Red Wine Cask Finish After the distillation process in 2006, the whisky was first matured for 8 years in ex-bourbon casks and then finished for two years in old red wine casks from Bordeaux. This whisky has a lot of volume, with strong sherry and alcohol notes on the nose. Deanston is known for the fresh honey sweetness in every whisky and this note can also be found in the 10 YO Bordeaux. Honey, caramel and sweet malt combine with red wine and a hint of citrus aroma. The aftertaste is a persistent fruity sweetness combined with a subtle spiciness.

Benromach Speyside Single Malt Whisky 21 Yo 0,7L 43%
Benromach Speyside Single Malt Whisky 21 years 0.7L 43% Benromach Distillery The family-run distillery is known for its traditional whisky and small batch bottlings. It is the smallest whisky distillery in Speyside and employs just two people. After years of inactivity, the distillery was officially reopened by Prince Charles in 1998. The distillery's 21-year-old complements the Classic Lein in a special way: It embodies the handmade character through and through. The whisky was distilled in the year of the reopening. After distillation, it was matured in oak barrels in which sherry had previously been stored. This gives the whisky not only its deep amber tone, but also distinctive sherry notes. On the nose, this is accompanied by citrus, cinnamon and oak notes. On the palate, spicy notes of ginger and pepper as well as fruity orange notes complement the taste profile. In the background, the smoky undertone known for Benromach whisky can be detected, which intensifies further in the finish.

Aberlour Forest Reserve 10 Yo Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky 0,7L 40%
Aberlour Forest Reserve 10 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky 0.7L 40% Speyside Whiskies Aberlour Whisky also comes from the town of the same name, Aberlour in Speyside, Scotland. The special thing about this whisky: The distillery only produces peated whisky, i.e. whisky that does not contain any smoke. Aberlour uses the two most well-known types of barrels for maturation, either ex-bourbon or ex-sherry barrels, but a combination of both types of barrels is also possible. Forest Reserve The Forest Reserve from the Aberlour distillery is a whisky that is matured in both bourbon and sherry barrels and is then finished in Limousin oak barrels from France. Its extremely mild character makes it ideal for beginners who want to explore the world of Scottish single malts, especially those from Speyside. Tasting Notes The aroma contains notes of juicy green apples, roasted nuts and subtle floral notes. On the palate, the Aberlour 10 Years Forest Reserve surprises with its complexity. Fine vanilla aromas, cinnamon and sweet honey underline the pleasant mildness of the whisky. Notes of malt and nutmeg give it a certain spiciness, as well as a hint of dried fruit and the aroma of juicy green apples. The finish is long and underlined by floral notes.

After a maturation period of 10 years, the cask is subjected to barrier filtration to remove unwanted particles. This Laphroaig whisky is bottled without chill filtration and at cask strength. What you pour into the glass represents exactly what we get from the cask - the heart of charred, aged oak casks, our signature blue peat smoke and the nutty barley. The nose unfolds gentle sweet nuances of toffee and caramel, followed by spicier undertones. The taste reveals a successful combination of sweetness and spice, with toffee, sea salt, vanilla and caramel wafers in particular being at the forefront. The finish impresses with freshly roasted coffee beans, accompanied by a hint of white pepper and ground cinnamon.
