Arran Single Malt Whisky Port Cask Finish 0.7L 50% The Isle of Arran is a Scottish island that lies between the mainland and the Kintyre peninsula. Because the island has a large north-south landscape, it is often referred to as a miniature version of Scotland.Whisky was first produced on the Isle of Arran in 1825. The Lagg Distillery closed its doors in 1837, however, and it would be over 150 years before whisky from the Isle of Arran could be purchased again. In 1995, the famous master blender Harold Currie opened the Isle of Arran Distillers to produce a malt exactly according to his ideas. He gets the water from the Easan Biorach River and the malt is unpeated and comes from a malthouse in the idyllic Pencaitland. The distillery quickly gained popularity, particularly through its Cask Finish whiskies. Harold Currie counts this edition, which is matured in old port wine barrels, as one of the three best products in his Cask Finish series. A classic single malt complemented by warming aromas of plums, apple pie, mandarins and much more.

Arran Single Malt Whisky Amarone Finish 0,7L 50%
Arran Amarone Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky 0,7L 50%

Arran Single Malt Whisky Amarone Finish 0.7L 50% Scotland The Arran distillery comes from the Scottish Isle of Arran of the same name and is the only distillery there for over 150 years, as the Lagg Distillery was once located there from 1825 to 1837. Compared to many other whisky distilleries in Scotland, the Arran distillery is a relatively young one. It was only built in the early 1990s by Harold J. Currie, the former managing director of Seagram, and whisky was first produced in the mid-1990s. The distillery opened in 1997. Whisky from the distillery has therefore only been available on the market since 2001. Range You will often find single barrel bottlings of the brand that have undergone a special finish in different barrels such as sherry, cognac or rum. Amarone Finish Amarone is a special Italian red wine from the Veneto region. This is not a wine that you enjoy with food. An Amarone is a comparatively heavy wine, but still has a wealth of aromas. On the nose, fruity notes such as sweet and sour currants or raspberries paired with wood spices appear and develops into a soft, sweet whisky on the palate. Here, too, the memory of red fruits is strong. A light sweetness of honey and spicy aromas are also present. The creamy Amarone whisky fades slowly but powerfully with fruit and oak notes.

Arran Single Malt Whisky Sauternes Finish 0,7L 50%
Arran Single Malt Whisky Sauternes Cask Finish 0,7L 50%

Arran Single Malt Whisky Sauternes Finish 0.7L 50% Wine Finish Series The whisky varieties in the wine finish series are all finished in specially selected wine barrels after distillation and the actual maturation period of a good 8 years in an ex bourbon cask. This special bottling was finished in French Sauternes white wine barrels from Bordeaux. The exact maturation period is meticulously controlled by master distiller James MacTaggert himself and cannot be set in general terms. He waits for exactly the right moment when the optimal balance between fruitiness and sweetness has been achieved. This not only creates a pleasantly sweet taste, but also its golden hue. The aroma moves between floral notes, slightly sweet almonds and marzipan and is topped off with a slightly spicy tough. The taste offers a fine aroma of sweet, sticky honey with spices, but there is also a more bitter note of toasted oak.

Benromach Single Malt Whisky 10 Jahre 0,7L 43%
Benromach 10 Years Single Malt Whiskey 0.7L 43%

Benromach Single Malt Whisky 10 years 0.7L 43% The Benromach distillery, built in 1898 in Forres near Elgin, was taken over by the Urquhart family in 1993. Their aim was to revive the lost Speyside style with malted barley and a hint of peat smoke. This traditional process dates back to the time when all malthouses in Speyside used peat as fuel, which gave the Benromach whiskies their characteristic taste. The reopening of the distillery in 1998 by Prince Charles marked the return of a lost Speyside single malt style. The distillery relies on tradition and craftsmanship. The highly qualified master distillers rely exclusively on their senses and experience to produce the award-winning handmade whisky. The four ingredients barley, water, yeast and a human touch form the basis. The mash is stirred by hand, water flow and grist are manually controlled and fermentation takes place in larch washbacks. Double distillation in bespoke copper stills produces a medium-strength spirit suitable for variable maturation periods. The quality of the casks, particularly first-fill oak casks after wort with bourbon or sherry, is crucial to the flavour and character of the whisky. The maturation process is strictly controlled to ensure excellent quality standards. The 10-year-old Benromach Single Malt Whisky is a golden amber. Sweet green apple and pear unfold on the nose, accompanied by creamy dark honey. Gentle smoke is accompanied by a development of gentle vanilla notes. On the palate, gentle flavours of malted grain and compote combine with warm toffee and a hint of black cherry. The full-bodied finish presents malty grain and gentle smoke.
