The name of this blended whisky goes back to the infamous MacGregor Clan. This clan is said to be directly descended from Kenneth MacAlpin, the first King of the Scots, and is considered one of the bravest clans in Scottish history. The MacGregors became famous in 1603, when a cattle raid led to a battle with the rival Colquhoun clan. According to tradition, 200 Colquhouns and only two MacGregors were killed. As a result, the MacGregors were declared outlaws by King James VI and a reward was offered for every dead MacGregor. This law was not repealed by Parliament until 1774. The production of Clan MacGregor Blended Scotch Whisky Clan MacGregor Scotch Whisky is a fine Scottish blended Scotch whisky made from a total of 15 different whiskies matured in oak barrels. As is usual with blended whisky, both malt whiskies and grain whiskies were used for this bottling. Cameron Brig Single Grain Scotch Whisky 0.7L 40% The former owner of the Cameronbridge distillery in the Lowlands was a cousin of Robert Stein, the inventor of the continuous distillation process. It is therefore not surprising that the Cameronbridge distillery quickly switched to this process and thus produced high-quality grain whisky.After producing both malt and grain whisky for several years, the distillery decided to concentrate its whisky production on grain whisky. This whisky is one of the few available of the rare single grain whiskies. It runs amber-gold into the glass and is reminiscent of freshly cut hay and caramel on the nose. On the palate there are clear notes of fruit, toffee and pepper. The aftertaste is relatively short, but makes you want the next sip!

Inver House Green Plaid Whisky 0.7L 40% Inver House Distillery The Scottish whisky company was founded by the Americans as a subsidiary in Scotland. Instead of buying into any company, they wanted to try their luck with their own distillery. They bought 'Airdrie' as a base and acquired the old paper mill. They converted this into a very large complex in 1964/65 and were able to start producing malt whisky and grain whisky. The distillery had two lines, Glen Flagler and Killyloch. In the years that followed, the company bought up several well-known distilleries: the Loch Lomond distillery, Catto's, Balbair and many more. It was only when the Americans gave up the distillery that the brand really took off. Inver House Green Plaid The addition 'Plaid' is the Scottish name for the checked wool tartan pattern used for the famous kilts. According to stories, the 'Green Plaid' was worn by the very first Lord of the Isles, a famous Viking warrior 'Tartan' from the 12th century. This can also be seen on the label of the whisky bottle. The Inver House Green Plaid combines all the refinements of the individual whisky distilleries: fruitiness from An Cnoc or malted barley for which Balbair is known.

Lauders Blended Whisky 1.0L 43% Blended Scotch Whisky since 1834 The 'Lauders' brand was founded in 1834 by Archibald Lauder, a liqueur dealer from Glasgow at the time. In addition to selling various liqueurs, Lauder was also interested in whisky and was particularly interested in his own whisky creation. For this so-called 'Lauder's Finest' he married Low and Highland malts as well as Speyside malts with various other grain whiskies. Not only local whisky lovers enjoyed this blend, foreign whisky fans quickly loved it too. Even though the aromas are more in the 'classic' range of whisky aromas, this blend has its own character. The nose presents gentle caramel notes, accompanied by vanilla, a subtle spice and fruit. Lauder's Blended Whisky is very soft on the palate, with notes of caramel and fruit present. There are also notes of grain and a hint of oak. The sweetness of the fruit and a certain spiciness are still present in the finish.

Grand Macnish Blended Whisky Six Casks Edition 1.0L 40% Grand MacNish Grand MacNish has stood for fine blended malt whiskies since 1863. For founder Robert MacNish, all previous whiskies were too 'hard' and he wanted to create a lighter type of whisky. The 'Six Cask' edition represents the six different whisky regions of Scotland, which couldn't be more different. Only the best barrels from each region were selected, resulting in a balanced yet complex Scotch that will completely convince both whisky lovers and newcomers to this field. The aromas The nose initially reveals hints of smoke paired with slightly floral and fruity notes. This is intended to reflect Speyside and Islay. On the palate, the focus is on the character of Campbeltown and the islands, which are embodied by vanilla, toffee and a slight saltiness. The finish is rich and full of spices, which represents the Highlands and Lowlands.
