Selected Grain Blend and Triple Distillation Zuidam Jonge Graan Jenever is made from a mash consisting of equal parts corn, rye and malted barley. This combination creates a versatile grain foundation and contributes to the distinctive character of the jenever. After fermentation, the mash undergoes triple distillation. The resulting highly refined spirit is then redistilled with selected botanicals. Juniper and liquorice root play an important role, providing the jenever with its characteristic aromatic profile. Bokma Oude Genever is smooth and delicate and is a popular "short drink" especially in the Netherlands, but is also ideal for aromatic long drinks and cocktails.The basis is malt wine, which is made from a mixture of wheat, rye, corn and barley and gives genever its aromatic note.
