This gives the Hooghoudt Aged Genever 6 Years Oloroso Cask 0.7L 40% a deep, complex character that is velvety smooth and perfectly balanced. The warm sherry-oloroso notes with currants and raisins dominate first, accompanied by vanilla and a hint of blue agave. This is followed by aromas of forest fruits, especially raspberry, roasted coffee beans and cocoa, rounded off with a hint of black pepper.
