Old Pulteney Single Malt Whisky 16 years 0.7L 46% Old Pulteney Pulteney is the most northerly Scottish single malt whisky distillery on the Scottish mainland. The distillery, built in 1826, is located in the small village of Wick, which was once designed by Thomas Telford and Sir William Pulteney as the ideal fishing port. It was during this opening phase that the town experienced a real herring boom, which was of course perfect for James Henderson, the founder of the distillery, and the sale of his whisky.
