Ouzo Mitilene Piece of Greece brings an authentic taste of Greek drinking culture to the glass. Produced on the Greek island of Lesbos according to traditional methods, this distinctive Ouzo combines classic distilling craftsmanship with a carefully selected blend of aromatic botanicals. At 40% ABV, it offers an expressive, balanced and unmistakably anise-forward character.
The Ouzo is traditionally distilled in a copper still. Carefully selected ingredients such as anise, coriander seeds, fennel and additional herbs are combined to create its distinctive aromatic profile. The traditional distillation process allows the delicate essential oils of the botanicals to develop their full character while giving the Ouzo its unmistakable Mediterranean style.
On the nose, Ouzo Mitilene is intensely aromatic. Pronounced anise takes centre stage, harmoniously complemented by the fresh and subtly sweet character of fennel. The bouquet is clear, spicy and distinctly Mediterranean. The palate continues with the classic character of traditional Ouzo. Bold anise notes meet delicate liquorice nuances and selected herbal flavours. The result is an expressive yet balanced profile in which anise, fennel and herbs create additional aromatic depth. The finish is dry and clean. The distinctive anise character remains pleasantly on the palate, creating a lingering, spicy and refreshing conclusion.

Mytilini Ouzo 0.7L 40% Ouzo from Lesbos The ouzo from the port city of the same name, Mytilini on Lesbos, is a true cult product in Greece. It is also a thoroughly regional product, because the herbs and spices needed for its production, such as anise, also come from the small island of Mytilini. In order to achieve the intense, unique taste, these are slowly cooked in a copper kettle for several hours. Aromatics As expected, this ouzo is full of intense anise notes.
