Barrels for storage

These barrels used for flavoring come from the Chivas Brothers Disitllery. They are oak barrels, either made of Spanish or American wood. For some special rums, Dzama even uses French Limousin oak barrels.
In order not to have to accept any loss of flavor in the white rum, the barrels for these varieties are washed with citrus water. This way, they later have light citrus aromas in the background.

Vanilla and Pock Pock Kaki

Once again, a special flavoring has been used. This time, vanilla and physalis were used. The physalis has a very intense and sweet-sour aroma. This is wonderfully complemented by the sweet aroma of the vanilla and the spicy notes that are already contained in the rum.
