Who wouldn't want to long for white sandy beaches when taking a sip of fine rum? The climate there offers the best conditions for growing the sugar cane required. This creates a wonderful cycle: the plants release essential oils into the soil and thus into the groundwater, which then returns to the plants through irrigation and enhances the aromas of the plants. Various spices from the islands such as the ylang-ylang vine, special citrus varieties or even Madagascar vanilla also play an important role in the special taste. What other flavor combinations can Dzama think of for the Arrange range? How about vanilla, mandarin and rosé pepper? Admittedly, it sounds very daring when you read this for the first time. But when you taste it, this idea is quickly dispelled. First, the notes of vanilla come through clearly, quickly joined by the fresh, fruity-sweet aromas of the mandarins. Only in the finish do the spicy notes of the rosé pepper berries appear very slightly in the background. Here, too, the individual components of the aromatization can be found in the bottle.

Dzama Arrange Vanilla PockPock Kaki 0.5L 25% Barrels for storage These barrels used for flavoring come from the Chivas Brothers Disitllery. They are oak barrels, either made of Spanish or American wood. For some special rums, Dzama even uses French Limousin oak barrels. In order not to have to accept any loss of flavor in the white rum, the barrels for these varieties are washed with citrus water. This way, they later have light citrus aromas in the background. Vanilla and Pock Pock Kaki Once again, a special flavoring has been used. This time, vanilla and physalis were used. The physalis has a very intense and sweet-sour aroma. This is wonderfully complemented by the sweet aroma of the vanilla and the spicy notes that are already contained in the rum.

Here, in theRivière du Mât distillery, the rum of the same name is produced. The volcanic island offers the best conditions for growing sugar cane. The volcanic soil is full of minerals that help the plants thrive. Added to this is the pure water of the rivers, which has also been influenced by volcanic rock. All of these factors contribute to the particularly multifaceted aroma of theRivière du Mât rum. Arrange range For the Arrange range, the Rivière du Mât distillery has decided to use white rum. This is then enriched with natural flavors. As the name suggests, Arrange Banana is made from bananas that are macerated in the rum after distillation. This rum has a wonderful fruitiness with the aroma of ripe bananas, which doesn't make the rum seem too sticky or sweet.

Riviere du Mat Arrange Vanilla 0.7L 35% In the Arrange Rum 'Vanilla', the Riviere du Mât distillery manages to unite two special islands. Firstly, there is the island of La Reunion. A small island, a former French overseas department, in the Indian Ocean that is well known for Rhum Agricole. Rhum Agricole is the quality product made from fresh sugar cane juice, instead of molasses. Secondly, we have Madagascar, the vanilla island. And this is exactly what is united from the island with the rum from La Reunion. In addition to vanilla, the rum produced by the Riviere Du Mât distillery has been refined with other, but secret, spices.
