The fruits that are used in the liqueur come from specially grafted trees whose fruits are suitable for consumption. In terms of taste, the Chestnut Liqueur moves between sweet caramel notes and the nutty character of the chestnuts and is incredibly soft on the palate. It is particularly good as an accompaniment to cocktails, but it also shows its nutty aroma in the kitchen, for refining sauces or over vanilla ice cream.
