Aelred – the new spirits brand

Founded in the heart of the Drôme Provencale, there is now a new brand from Eyguebelle. This name offers a range of the finest spirits of the highest quality and allows you to enjoy products with particular finesse and unique taste.

The products of the new brand are divided into eight categories:
Fruit-based aperitifs, aniseed aperitifs, cocktail liqueurs, fruit liqueurs up to 16% vol, fruit liqueurs from 35% vol to 40% vol, herbal aperitifs, dry spirits and plant liqueurs.

Aelred's fruit liqueurs are all based on fruit teas combined with pure alcohol and cane sugar. The subtle fruit notes are clearly evident in all of them. They are best served with a certain wine or prosecco. They are also used in desserts, for example as a topping for pancakes or ice cream.

One of the products from the range of fruit liqueurs is blueberry liqueur. This is made from wild blueberries.

It all began with these plant liqueurs, which have such a long tradition, require masterly expertise that has been passed down from generation to generation and of course the most important factor: time. Today, in addition to the original products, the range also includes others, such as modern liqueurs with a low alcohol content and special aromas, anise liqueurs such as the well-known French pastis, fruit aperitifs and liqueurs. Liqueur or crème? In Aelred's premium segment, we find a range of spirits that have the word 'crème' in their name. What exactly is the difference between this and a normal liqueur? The sugar content of crème is even higher than that of a normal liqueur. This means that the aromas are even more intense. For the Mûre Sauvage, or wild blackberries in English, only wild blackberries are used, as they have a more distinctive taste than traditionally cultivated blackberries.
