Southern Comfort Likör 1,0L 35%
Southern Comfort Liqueur 1,0L 35%
Southern Comfort 1.0L 35% The history of Southern Comfort Southern Comfort is a liqueur from America with flavors of peach, orange, vanilla and whiskey. Southern Comfort liqueur was probably invented around 1860 by the then 24-year-old Irish bartender MW Heron. Allegedly, Heron wanted to make a very rough and sharp-tasting bourbon whiskey more drinkable and for this reason added various herbs and spices to it. The result was a cocktail called Cuffs and Buttons, which MW Heron renamed Southern Comfort in 1885 and finally patented in 1889. Southern Comfort quickly spread throughout the country and became known as "The Grand Old Drink of the South." In 1904, Southern Comfort won a gold medal at the World's Fair in St. Louis and made MW Heron, who died in 1920, a wealthy man. After the end of Prohibition, the recipe for Southern Comfort was bought by Francis Fowler's family and is now owned by the Brown-Forman beverage company. The production of Southern Comfort Contrary to all assumptions, Southern Comfort is not made on the basis of bourbon whiskey, but with neutral alcohol. The original recipe for Southern Comfort is based on bourbon whiskey, but has not been produced in this way for decades. The neutral alcohol for Southern Comfort is flavored with essences of peaches, citrus fruits and other spices and then stored for eight months in used bourbon whiskey barrels. These give the liqueur, also known as SoCo, a light whiskey aroma, which is probably responsible for the myth of the old recipe. The taste of Southern Comfort On the nose, Southern Comfort is fruity, with a fine sweetness and pronounced orange notes. On the palate it is distinctly sweet, with lots of fruit, a little vanilla and warm spices like cinnamon. Southern Comfort is perfect for enjoying neat on ice or can be used in a variety of cocktails and long drinks. One of the most famous Southern Comfort drinkers was the legendary singer Janis Joplin!

Glayva Whisky Liqueur 1,0L 35%

Average rating of 3.7 out of 5 stars

Glayva Whisky Liqueur, 1 L, 35%
Glayva Whisky Liqueur 1.0L 35% The history of Glayva Whisky Liqueur Glayva Whisky Liqueur is produced by Whyte and Mackay Ltd. Whyte and Mackay Ltd. is one of the biggest brands in the whisky business and the blend of the same name is even synonymous with Scotch whisky in some parts of Scotland. In addition to the world-famous blend, Whyte and Mackay also produces many other products, such as Glayva Whisky Liqueur. The secret recipe for Glayva Liqueur dates back to 1947 and has remained unchanged since then. Glayva Liqueur was created by whisky merchant Ronald Morrison, who also gave Glayva Liqueur its name, which translated from Gaelic means "very good!". These are said to have been the words of one of Ronald Morrison's employees when he tried the liqueur for the first time. The production of Glayva Whisky Liqueur As with many recipes in the drinks industry, the exact composition of Glayva Whisky Liqueur is a well-kept secret. What is known is that Glayva Whisky Liqueur is a blend of long-aged Scotch malt whiskies and herbs, spices, fruit and honey. For example, mandarins from the Mediterranean, almonds and cinnamon from the Far East and honey from Scotland are used for this fine liqueur. Glayva Whisky Liqueur is bottled at an untypically high 35% ABV for a liqueur. The high alcohol content contributes positively to the complex taste of the Glayva Whisky Liqueur. The taste of the Glayva Whisky Liqueur The Glayva Whisky Liqueur manages to walk the tightrope of being complex and yet soft. The aromas of the Highland Scotch Whisky are well expressed and the nose and palate reveal fruity aromas and many nuances of herbs and spices. The aftertaste of the Glayva Whisky Liqueur is unusually long, complex and warming for a liqueur - almost like a malt whisky. While many consumers drink the Glayva Whisky Liqueur neat, there is also a growing group that likes to enjoy it as a long drink. Mixtures with ginger ale, cranberry juice or naturally cloudy apple juice are particularly recommended.

Why & Mel Whiskaramel liqueur, 0,7L 24%
Why & Mel Whiskaramel Liqueur 0.7L 24% From Spain to the whole world The history of the Spanish manufacturer Williams & Humbert Bodega began more than 130 years ago. With the "Why & Mel Liqueur", the world-renowned company has brought a really good liqueur onto the market, which is almost unique with its special taste experience. By storing wine and brandy in a special way, for example using the Solera process, the company was able to focus on production, which is mainly focused on exports. It has been characterized by its entrepreneurial finesse since the beginning, as it has entered into various partnerships and collaborations over the years, which have now led to it being included in Spain's largest list of trading companies. All of Williams & Humbert's technical facilities can be found along the country road in the bodegas that connects Jerez and El Puerto. This includes the systems for fermenting, mixing, cooling and bottling all the delicious spirits on offer. Visually, The black bottle stands out particularly well from other products because the logo and lettering are in striking colors. The liqueur itself, however, boasts a bright amber color. The distillate is shiny and shines in the glass. Naturally caramel With “Why & Mel”, a liqueur was created that is blended on the basis of carefully selected malt whiskeys and refined with natural caramel. During production, the focus was on a selection of high-quality malt whiskeys that were allowed to age in American oak barrels. The pleasant accent of caramel can be detected even on the nose. A distinctive aroma When you try it, “Why & Mel” reveals itself Mel" fills the palate, while the mild nuances create a memorable aroma. The sweetness was brought into a pleasant balance with the necessary balance. The finish is more creamy thanks to the caramel. Tasting note The liqueur should be served very cold, neat or with ice. However, since it reveals itself in its diversity, it can certainly be mixed in a cocktail.

Black Velvet Toasted Caramel Liqueur 1,0L 35%
Black Velvet Toasted Caramel Liqueur 1,0L 35%
Black Velvet Toasted Caramel Liqueur 1.0L 35% Valleyfield, Quebec/Canada Since Canadian whiskeys have achieved a high status among connoisseurs, it is no wonder that this exceptional, flavoured whiskey liqueur comes from Canada. The flavouring process was copied from spiced rum and flavoured vodka. Black Velvet was bottled for the first time in 1955, but the history of Black Velvet goes back much further, to the times of the Second World War. There it was produced by Schenley Industries, which had its headquarters in the Empire State Building in New York. At that time, however, this whisky was still known under the name 'Black Label'. However, after master distiller Jack Napier tried the first whisky, he realised that a more expressive title was needed. He decided to choose a different name and the whisky was from then on known as 'Black Velvet' to emphasise its velvety character. In addition to rye, grain and corn, crystal-clear mountain water from Canada is also used for Black Velvet Whisky. It is already exported to more than 50 countries and is particularly popular in America. Pure Caramel The toffee and cream notes complement the woody whiskey aromas excellently. The nose is dominated by caramel, and the palate is full-bodied and lush. Anyone who thinks that this flavoured whiskey can only taste sweet with so many caramel and toffee notes is wrong. Black Velvet Toasted Caramel Whiskey scores with a pleasant, balanced sweetness and subtle pepper notes. The aftertaste is very creamy and has a long-lasting toffee taste. A really successful combination that you should definitely try. The Black Velvet Toasted Caramel Liqueur is based on the original Black Velvet Whiskey and has been flavored with roasted caramel. This added sweetness makes this Black Velvet more of a liqueur than a classic whiskey and is therefore ideal for cocktails. But there is absolutely nothing that can be said against the pure enjoyment of Black Velvet Toasted Caramel.
