In close cooperation with independent bottlers and producers, as well as their sixty years of experience, they have the Maison's limited edition spirits to thank for being more than valued by collectors and connoisseurs today. In 2016, the company expanded its range to include another series. The Transcontinental Rum Line was introduced. It is intended to represent the journeys of the rum barrels between the New Worlds and Europe, as well as the various reasons why rum has always been produced and shipped. The Jamaica Rum 2013 edition of the Transcontinental Line is already the second Jamaica Rum in the series. The 2013 comes from the Worthy Park Distillery and was first matured in a tropical climate until November 2017 and then finished in continental climatic conditions. The aroma alone shows a rum that has many surprises in store. It is very smooth and has notes of agave and brioche, as well as chocolate notes and a pleasant spiciness. The elegant aroma continues on the palate, with floral notes and spicy aromas.

Transcontinental Rum Line Barbados Rum 2012/2017 0.7L 46% Transcontinental Line The Barbados Rum 2012/2017 is another product from the Transcontinental Line of the Maison du Whisky from France. This time you get to taste the influence of the climate zones of the Caribbean and Europe on the rum. Despite its French roots and the background of the 'Agricole Island' of Barbados, this rum was distilled from molasses instead of fresh sugar cane juice. The color is only due to the maturation in the barrel; the addition of caramel has been completely omitted. The rum spends this maturation phase in both the tropical climate of the Caribbean and the temperate climate in France and is a single barrel bottling, thus limited to 4,000 bottles. After many rums in the product line were released as cask strength, the Barbados 2012/2017 is a bottling at drinking strength and thus has an alcohol content of 46% vol. Tasting The taste of the 5-year-old rum is very lively, you can detect notes of spices and dried fruit, but also strong wood notes and Caribbean fruit notes such as pineapple or coconut.

Transcontinental Rum Line Trinidad Rum 2006/2018 0.7L 56.5% La Maison du Whisky - France A further addition to the well-known Transcontinental Rum Line from the French bottler La Maison du Whisky is the Trinidad Rum, distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2018. The rum was allowed to age for 7 years in ex-bourbon barrels in the tropical climate of the producing country Trinidad, before a final finish for 5 months in France before bottling. Over the years, the rum has entered into a harmonious combination with the aromas of the oak, creating a strong but not too extreme aroma. On the nose, the initial notes are of red fruits paired with dark caramel and tobacco. Further, stronger tobacco notes with a pleasant sweetness develop on the palate, as does the aroma of red fruits. These aromas also pamper the palate in the finish, with a hint of vanilla rounding off the overall impression.

Transcontinental Rum Line Jamaica Rum WP 2012/2017 0.7L 57.18% Navy-Strength The Rum Line Jamaica WP 2012 was launched as a Navy Strength version. This means that it was bottled at a strong 57.18% vol., i.e. at cask strength. As is usual with products from the Transcontinental Rum Line, the Jamaica Rum Worthy Park was matured on two continents. First at the place of production itself, in Jamaica. After this first maturation phase, the rum was then shipped to Europe, where a second maturation took place. Maturation at two different locations with different climatic conditions also creates a very unique character. This Jamaica Rum WP 2012/2017 offers an extraordinarily multifaceted taste experience. Notes of sweet brioche and agave on the nose. Fruity notes of pear and tangy lemon as well as spicy notes of pepper, nutmeg and anise are also evident. On the palate, spice and fruitiness merge, with other fruit notes such as mirabelle plum and peach emerging. A hint of honey provides a pleasant sweetness.

Transcontinental Rum Line Panama Rum 2013/2019 5+1 Years Old 0.7L 43% Transcontinental Rum Line Since 2016, new products have been appearing year after year in the Transcontinental Rum Line from the French bottler La Maison du Whisky. Products are sold here that have usually been matured at two different locations. First, they mature for a certain time in their home country at the production site, after which the barrels are shipped to France, where the rum products undergo a second maturation phase. Panama Rum 2013/2019 + 1 Year This rum was initially matured for five years in the tropical climate of Panama before being further matured for a year in France at La Maison du Whisky. This time the Panama Rum is not a cask strength bottling, but has also been diluted to a pleasant 43.0% vol. This creates a rum with a mild character. Tasting Notes Due to the low alcohol content, Panama Rum offers a mild drinking pleasure. On the nose, a wonderfully fruity aroma with notes of vanilla and the scent of cedar wood. On the palate, the rum develops into a full-bodied taste, also with fruit notes and subtle oak tones. The finish is long and also characterized by fruit and wood notes.

Transcontinental Rum Line Australia Rum 7 Years 2014/2021 0.7L 48% The Transcontinental Rum Line Australia Rum 7 Years 2014/2021 comes from the Beenleight distillery in Queensland, Australia. Distilled using the traditional pot still method, it matured for five years in bourbon barrels in Australia's subtropical climate before being refined for a further two years in cognac barrels in Europe. This Transcontinental rum is bottled natural and unfiltered. Transcontinental Rum Line Australia Rum 7 Years 2014/2021 0.7L 48% impresses with its full body and a tantalizing fruity sweetness on the nose. On the palate, it unfolds a rich spectrum of tropical fruits such as pineapple, accompanied by subtle notes of menthol, vanilla and fig. Its finish is long-lasting and spicy.

Transcontinental Rum Line Jamaica 5 Years 2016/2021 0.7L 57.18% The Transcontinental Rum Line Jamaica 5 Years 2016/2021 was distilled in 2016 from fermented molasses using the pot still method. After four years of maturation in the tropical climate of Jamaica and another year in Europe, it was bottled in 2021 with an alcohol content of 57.18% vol. Its bouquet offers ripe fruit, plantains, cocoa and a hint of wood. On the palate, it presents a variety of aromas, including vanilla, pastries, spicy oak and a hint of smoke. Its finish is long-lasting.

Transcontinental Rum Line Panama 6 Years 2015/2022 0.7L 43% The Transcontinental Rum Line Panama 6 Years 2015/2022 was distilled using the column style method and spent six years in American oak barrels in Panama's tropical climate before being brought to France for bottling. This Transcontinental rum is produced without the addition of coloring and remains unadulterated as it is not chill-filtered. On the nose, aromas of candied peach, orange and coconut unfold, accompanied by a hint of caramel and subtle citrus notes. On the palate, the Transcontinental Rum Line Panama 6 Years 2015/2022 0.7L 43% shows a pleasant tartness with notes of dark chocolate, ripe fruit, honey and spicy wood. Its finish is long-lasting and fruity.

Transcontinental Rum Line French West Indies VO 0.7L 40% The Transcontinental Rum Line French West Indies VO is an Agricole Rum that is distilled from fresh sugar cane using the column style method. After distillation, it matures in American oak under the tropical climate of the French overseas territories and is finally bottled in France. This Transcontinental Line French West Indies VO Agricole Rum 0.7L 40% presents exotic fruit aromas on the nose, accompanied by wood and dried fruit notes such as dates. Floral notes, oak, dried fruit, vanilla and a hint of herbs unfold on the palate. The finish is medium-long.
