Savanna Rhum Traditionnel Le Must 0.7L 45% Savanna Distillery The Savanna distillery was founded in the middle of the 20th century on the island of La Réunion in the town of Saint Paul. Today it is located in Saint André, right next to its own sugar factory, where it moved in 1992. Rhum Traditionnel The Svanna Rhum Traditionnel Le Must is, unlike many Savanna products, a rum that is traditionally distilled from molasses. The most important raw material for this, sugar cane, comes from the surrounding area and is processed further in the company's own sugar factory. The resulting by-product, molasses, is then processed further into Rum Traditionnel. The dark color of the rum alone suggests a strong rum with strong character. The focus is primarily on fruity notes such as peach, banana or pear. They are complemented by other aromas such as cocoa, various spices and a subtle nuance of oak.

Savanna Rhum Traditionnel 2022 Bois Rouge 0.7L 57% On the coast of the Indian Ocean, at the foot of the Piton de la Fournaise volcano, the Savanna distillery has been handcrafting rare rums since 1870. After more than a century at the Domaine de Savanna, nestled in the foothills of the island's west coast, the distillery moved to the "Bois Rouge" site in Saint-Andre on the east coast in 1992. Released in 2022 in a limited edition to celebrate the 30th anniversary of this event, this old Agricole rum is a blend of six carefully hand-picked barrels. The nose opens with slightly minty vegetal tones, followed by tropical fruits and subtly spicy vanilla notes. The palate is lively, smooth and spicy, returning to fresh sugar cane.
