No. 209 Gin Miniatures 0.05L 46%

At the end of the 19th century, the Edge Hill Estate in Napa Valley was one of the most prestigious wineries. William Scheffler recognized its potential and purchased the property. But he wanted to produce more than just wine and built a distillery on the grounds. After obtaining the distilling license number 209, he proudly adopted it as his company name. Like many gin producers, Scheffler experienced a quieter period for gin until the distillery was acquired by Leslie Rudd over 100 years later. Due to the limited size of the distillery and a lack of acreage for grain cultivation, Rudd relocated production to San Francisco.

With the goal of creating a modern gin that combines tradition and craftsmanship, Rudd developed No. 209 London Dry Gin. This No. 209 Gin 0.05L 46% impresses with its exceptional botanicals: In addition to classic juniper, fresh bergamot, lemon peel, and coriander seeds define its flavor profile. Cardamom and cassia bark lend it a spicy note. After distillation, the gin is brought to a drinking strength of 46% ABV using meltwater from the Sierra Nevada. Citrus aromas dominate the taste, setting it apart from classic British dry gins.

The Botanist Islay Dry Gin Miniature 0,05L 46%

The Botanist Islay Dry Gin Miniature 0.05L 46% The Bruichladdich Distillery Co. Ltd. Scotland's westernmost distillery is known among connoisseurs above all for its outstanding whisky. The distillery was founded in 1881 by the brothers John Gourlay and Robert William Harvey. It is located not far from Loch Indaal, on the very pristine island of Islay. The distillery has been part of the Remy Cointreau Group since 2012.But now they have taken another path to produce an excellent gin. This is produced carefully and only in small batches. Botanist The base of this gin also consists of the usual botanicals for a gin such as juniper, coriander seeds or cinnamon bark. However, it is only after the addition of 22 wild botanicals that come from the Islay island and have their own character that it becomes a special Isaly Gin. The gentle processing in the pot still method allows the maximum aroma to be extracted from the fine botanicals. On the nose, there is a slight sweetness with notes of apple mint. The juniper is also clearly in the foreground here. This combination makes the Botanist Gin seem very summery. The taste is very special, very clear on the palate and with great aromas. Fine citrus notes that have been perfectly matched with the juniper are evident here. The finish is long and soft and offers a slightly maritime touch.

Harahorn Gin Miniatur 0,05L 46%
Harahorn Gin Miniatur 0,05L 46%

Harahorn Gin Miniature 0.05L 46% History Harahorn Gin is named after a Norwegian mountain in Hemsedal, where the wonderful juniper berries are harvested, and after a Norwegian legendary figure that no one has seen to this day. Known in North America as a 'jackalope', and called 'Harahorn' in Norway, it refers to a horned hare. After a production monopoly for alcohol existed in the Nordic countries, which was lifted for Norway in 2005, the former Puntervold / Agder Brenneri (now Det Norske Brenneri) was able to operate its production and barrel storage facilities in Grimstad in the south of Norway. They mainly produced apple wine and the caraway schnapps that is popular in the Scandinavian countries. They were the first private distillery after 80 years of state monopoly. Harahorn Gin The long summer days and the dark, cold winter nights create the perfect climatic conditions for the berries and herbs used in Harahorn Gin. Alcohol from potatoes forms the basis here. In addition, only selected, regional botanicals are used, with which the producers have experimented for a long time. In addition to the juniper from Røros, these include blueberries from Nordmarka on the outskirts of Oslo and seaweed from the city. This gin is produced in relatively small equipment with a capacity of 300 liters and is therefore a very special gin with each distillation process. Harahorn Gin can now be found not only in delicatessens and specialty stores. It can also be found above the clouds. SAS Flights has added the Scandinavian gin to its range. The guests on board should be offered a unique experience and so the Harahorn Gin joins the diverse selection of artisanal drinks on board. Tasting Don't be fooled by the typically clear appearance of this gin: clear aroma of juniper and citrus fruits on the nose. A surprisingly deep taste. In addition to the unmistakable juniper berries, spicy notes round off the overall picture of the gin and convince in the finish with the lasting freshness of the citrus fruits.

Harahorn Orange Dry Gin Miniatur 0,05L 42%

Harahorn Orange Dry Gin Miniature 0.05L 42% Det Norske Brennerei Det Norske Brenneri was founded in 2011 by Odd J. Nelvik and Stig Bareksten. They initially wanted to create a milder aquavit by aging the distillate in barrels. In 2014, they launched their first product, 'Arvesølvet Aquavit'. Following the merger with Puntervold AS and Agder Brenneri in 2014, the portfolio has steadily expanded, primarily through the collaboration with Ole Puntervold, a pioneer of Norwegian spirits production. Orange Dry Gin The newest product from the Norwegian distillery is the Orange Dry Gin. This Harahorn Orange Dry Gin miniature (0.05L, 42% ABV) focuses on citrus flavors and is perfect for summer. It contains oranges, lemons, limes, and rhubarb, which create a fresh, fruity, and slightly bitter aroma with a pleasant acidity. Spices also play a role, and so Master Blender Jon Bertelsen opted for a fascinating selection of iris, caraway, pepper, watercress, juniper, and cinnamon.

Gin Mare Miniatur 0,05L 42,7%
Gin Mare Miniature 0,05L 42,7%

Gin Mare Miniature 0.05L 42.7% Mediterranean Gin If you're not a gin connoisseur, you probably don't associate Spain with gin. But once you look into the subject, it quickly becomes clear that Gin Mare is a very popular gin, especially among beginners. It is produced in Vilanova, which borders Barcelona directly. In a direct comparison with a Nordic gin, the differences are very clear. With its dry and spirited aroma, Gin Mare embodies its country of origin through and through. When tasting Gin Mare, you almost feel like you're in a small herb garden. You might not believe it, but the notes of olives, rosemary and thyme in this Spanish gin complement the otherwise very typical juniper notes. However, each bottle is unique because the main ingredient, the Arbequina olive, has a different acidity level in every season. So you have to let yourself be taken on a new journey every time. In addition to the spicy aromas of olives and Mediterranean herbs, other ingredients from the Mediterranean coast are also used in Gin Mare. The taste also has clear notes of juicy oranges from Valencia, lemons from Seville or even cardamom and coriander.
