John D. Taylor's Falernum is produced according to an old recipe from 1890 exclusively in Bridgetown on the island of Barbados by the rum company RL Seale and is an indispensable ingredient in countless Caribbean cocktails.

Especially in the heyday of the Tiki boom, the rum liqueur mixed with herbs and spices was considered an important flavoring in opulent cocktail creations.

A strong sweetness is supported by aromas of almond, clove, cardamom, lime and fine rum. John D. Taylor Velvet Falernum is very balanced and complex.

Cockspur Old Time Recipe Falernum 1.0L 11% Cockspur Barbados Rum The Danish emigrant Valdemar Hanschell founded the rum brand Cockspur on Barbados in 1884. First, the Cockspur rum is distilled in copper stills using the so-called pot-style process. This is followed by a double distillation using the column-style process, which is intended to produce a lighter, fresher rum. Old Time Recipe Falernum This Falernum is produced according to a tradition that is over 100 years old. The Caribbean spices that provide the fantastic aroma are soaked in the base alcohol, i.e. macerated. To give the whole thing a fresh, fruity touch, fresh lime juice is added to the alcohol after this process.
