Claude Thorin Cognac Grande Champagne VSOP 0.7L 40% Cognac from the heart of Champagne If you look at beautiful France when it comes to spirits, you will notice, especially with the Domaine Thorin, that the country is not only responsible for particularly good wine and the Champagne region is not only responsible for champagne. The Domaine Thorin, located in Segonzac in the heart of the Grand Champagne, has been delighting people with fascinating cognac productions for more than 60 years. Over the years, the family knowledge of cognac distillation and especially the storage of spirits has been continuously passed on - another important point for the outstanding cognac is the growing region, which can be found in the Commune de Mainxe. This is a very famous cru location in the Grand Champagne. For further special aromas, the company always uses Limousin barrels. These are often found in the maturation of cognac, as the French Limousin oak is said to give it a very unique, complex character. These barrels were also used for the Cognac Grand Champagne VSOP. Over the course of the maturation process, a full-bodied and complex aroma was created. The senses are pampered with notes of vanilla and orange blossom, raisins and a hint of musk.

Martell Cohiba Cognac 0,7L 43%
Martell Cohiba Cognac 0,7L 43%
Martell Cohiba Cognac 0.7L 43% Aromatic partnership At the time of gentlemen's clubs in the 18th and 19th centuries, it was very common for their members to sit down with a good cigar and an equally good glass of a fine spirit and discuss world events and politics. The Martell Cognac house took up this culture with its Cohiba Cognac when they developed this spirit. Because a cigar needs an equal partner that is neither too soft nor too strong. It has to be the perfect blend so that no partner is too dominant in terms of taste and ultimately the cognac should of course also be convincing on its own. Only the best The Martell distillery, founded in 1715, is one of the oldest cognac producers in all of France. The company has been run from generation to generation with all the expertise and tradition that makes the products so unique. The terroir from which Martell sources its grapes plays a large part in the taste and therefore the success of the brandy. The large Cognac wine region in the southwest of France is divided into six large regions, all of which have different conditions for growing grapes. Due to its proximity to the Atlantic, Cognac has a very advantageous mild climate and the right geological subsoil. The most famous and most valued area is the Grand Champagne, where the Borderies terroir is located, and it is precisely from these famous and unique locations that Martell sources the grapes for the wine, which is later distilled into cognac in the old, large copper stills. Taste of the terroir The spirits made from the grapes of this Borderies terroir all have a special, very floral aroma, and the Martell cellar masters chose a few barrels of individual cognacs in a strict selection process, which they carefully blended to create this Cohiba. The result is a blend that boasts extravagant, fine notes of dried flowers. It is gentle, but still has a solid character of gentle fruits and spices, in other words a wonderful cognac that can of course also be enjoyed without a cigar.

Merlet VS Cognac 0,7L 40%
Merlet VS Cognac 0,7L 40%
Merlet VS Cognac 0.7L 40% History and production of Merlet VS Cognac: The history of the Merlet cognac house begins in 1850. The founder, Firmin Merlet, came from a family that owned large vineyards and had a thorough knowledge of the development and storage of fine wines. In the middle of the 19th century, Firmin decided to distill some of his wine and produce cognac. The cognacs were so aromatic and full-bodied that Merlet subsequently supplied all the major cognac houses with his fine brandy. The knowledge of the type of distillation and the complex maturation in oak barrels was passed on and expanded from generation to generation. In the 1970s, one of the descendants, Gilles Merlet, decided to grow blackcurrants on a large scale on the family's own land and to produce a cassis liqueur. The success of this liqueur overshadowed everything that had come before and made the company famous around the world. As a result, many different fruit liqueurs were produced alongside high-quality cognac. However, it was to be a while before Merlet brought cognac onto the market under its own name. One of the flagship products is Merlet VS Cognac. This cognac, which has been matured for a long time in Limousin oak barrels, impresses with its great fruit aroma and full-bodied taste. Whether as a high-quality base in cognac-based cocktails or as a stylish digestif, the Merlet VS Cognac always impresses. Tasting the Merlet VS Cognac: The Merlet VS Cognac shimmers honey-gold in the glass and impresses with its enormous fruit bouquet even before the first sip. There are aromatic notes of grapes, red berries, cherries and plums. There are also spicy hints of roasted nuts, almonds, cinnamon and oak, which combine harmoniously with the fruity character. On the tongue, the Merlet VS Cognac is full-bodied and balanced. The result is a rich interplay of fruitiness, sweetness and spicy barrel freight. Notes of vanilla, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves emerge. There is also a whole potpourri of red, fully ripe fruits. The background is characterized by spicy oak and coffee. The long, warming finish lingers on the tongue and palate forever and forms a worthy conclusion. The Merlet VS Cognac is a remarkable cognac that really has all the facets that correspond to this noble spirit genre. A harmonious, finely balanced aroma and taste profile of mild fruitiness, pleasant sweetness and strong spiciness make the Merlet VS Cognac an absolutely exceptional product.

Dobbe Cognac Petit Champagne 10 Jahre,0,7L
Dobbe Cognac Petit Champagne 10 Jahre, 0,7 L, 43%
The Cognac House Dobbé The Cognac House Dobbé is a family-run business that has been owned by the owner family since 1787. Back then, the ancestors of the current managing director, Michel Dobbé, acquired the first vineyards in the Charente and distilled their first cognac a few years later. The Cognac House is located in the small town of Salignac sur Charente, which is very close to the famous town of Cognac. The Dobbé family now cultivates a good 35 hectares of vineyards. While a third of these vineyards are in the Cognac region of Fins Bois, the remaining two thirds of the grapes are grown in the famous "Petite Champagne" region. The vineyards are mostly planted with the Ugni Blanc grape variety, which produces very fruity, fine and complex cognacs. In order to achieve the best possible result, a large part of the work in the vineyard is done by hand and bad or rotten harvests are meticulously sorted out. After the grapes have been gently pressed, the resulting grape must is fermented. This produces a typical, rather acidic base wine, which is then double distilled in the traditional way in 25 hectoliter Charentais stills. The still young distillate is then filled into barrels made of Limousine oak to mature and taken to the Dobbé cellars for storage. The cognac matures there until the long-standing cellar master considers the quality to be perfect and releases the cognac for bottling. Bottling also takes place on site at the estate. This gives the Dobbé family the opportunity to observe every important step in the production of their cognacs first hand. The Dobbé Cognac Petit Champagne 10 years For ten long years, this exclusive cognac was allowed to mature to perfection in the house's cellars. Only grapes from the renowned Petite Champagne were used to produce it, which give this cognac its unmistakable character. On the nose, the cognac, which is bottled at a strong 43% vol., shows aromas of dried fruit, nuts and a hint of flowers and black berries such as blackberries. On the palate, nuances of vanilla, caramel and jam join the aromas from the smell. The long aftertaste is very balanced, harmonious and warming. A great cognac!
