Harahorn Cask Aged Gin Miniatures 0.05L PET 41.7%
Det Norske Brenneri is located in Grimstad, Southern Norway, and was the country's first private distillery after the abolition of the state production monopoly in 2015. They celebrated their successful debut that same year with their craft gin. For over a year, the master distillers experimented with various berries and herbs to find the perfect recipe. Thanks to Norway's unique climate, which makes fruits and herbs particularly aromatic, Harahorn Gin was created, combining four regional ingredients: juniper from Røros, blueberries from Nordmarka near Oslo, rhubarb from Grimstad, and seaweed from Stadt.
Harahorn is inspired by a legendary creature that hunters and miners have claimed to have seen for centuries. While it is known as the jackalope in North American folklore, in Norway it is called Harahorn.
Harahorn Gin is distilled with wild juniper, blueberries, rhubarb, bladderwrack, marjoram, and angelica from the Norwegian wilderness. A special edition of this Harahorn Cask Aged Gin (0.05L PET, 41.7% ABV) has also been aged for a year in Oloroso sherry casks, resulting in a smooth, elegant gin that is ideal for classic cocktails.
