Dolin Vermouth Rouge, 0,75 L, 16%

Product information "Dolin Vermouth Rouge, 0,75 L, 16%"

Dolin Vermouth Rouge 0.75L 16%

The Dolin house was founded in 1821 by Joseph Chavasse in Echeles en Savoie and as a liquor distiller he was involved in extracting aromas from fruits and plants. A few years later he moved to Chambery where his company began to marry local wines from Savoie/Chambery with the countless herbs of the nearby mountain region.

The Dolin brand goes back to Ferdinand Dolin, who married a descendant of the founder. Dolin vermouth is drier and more characterful than the Italian style developed in Turin and has a natural freshness paired with the purity of natural mountain herbs.

Dolin Vermouth Rouge has the best price/performance ratio away from the big players in the global vermouth business. Top recommendation!

Lillet Rose Aperitif, 0,75 L, 17%
Lillet Rose Aperitif 0.75L 17% The history of Lillet The origins of the Lillet Frères company go back to 1872. At that time, Raymond and Paul Lillet founded the company "Maison Lillet" in Les Graves near Sauternes and began trading in fine liqueurs, spirits and wines. Lillet, then known as Kina Lillet, was finally created in 1887 on the advice of Father Kermann. He worked under Louis XVI as a doctor in Brazil where he recognized the strengthening effect of cinchona bark. Back in Bordeaux, he experimented with the Lillets on combining wines and fruit liqueurs with spices. After a few failed attempts, they finally succeeded in producing Kina Lillet, the first aperitif from Bordeaux. Bordeaux was the most important French port at the time and so Lillet quickly spread throughout the world. In the mid-1950s, Lillet conquered Parisian and New York high society and has since become a staple in bars around the world. After a brief period of weakness at the end of the millennium, Lillet is currently experiencing a revival and is causing a sensation with new products such as the Lillet Rosé Aperitif. The production of Lillet Rose Aperitif The base wine for Lillet Rosé, like the wine for Lillet Blanc, is made from the Sémillon grape variety. It is then married with an artisanal, natural liqueur made from sweet and bitter oranges. It is also known that Lillet Blanc's recipe contains cinchona bark from Peru. This ingredient can therefore also be assumed to be found in Lillet Rosé. Like Lillet Blanc and Lillet Rouge, Lillet Rosé matures in traditional oak barrels to harmonize. The taste of Lillet Rose Aperitif The shiny pink Lillet Rosé is best served well chilled. Served like this, Lillet Rosé has light notes of red fruits, orange blossom and grapefruit on the nose. On the palate, Lillet Rosé is pleasantly fresh, fruity and lively. The well-balanced structure of Lillet Rosé is stimulatingly sour. Very pleasant! The aftertaste of Lillet Rosé is longer than expected and leaves a fresh feeling on the palate. Lillet Rosé is also wonderful for use in cocktails or with sparkling wine!

Mascaro Vermut Premium 0,75L 15%
Mascaro Vermut Premium 0,75L 15%
Mascaro Vermut Premium 0.75L 15% Everything in family hands Far to the north of Spain lies the autonomous region of Catalonia, surrounded by the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean. The geographical conditions are therefore extremely advantageous for winegrowing and the mountainous coast is home to the wine-growing region of Vilafranca, which is famous for Cava, the Catalan version of champagne. The Mascaro brand is relatively young, having been founded in 1946, but the company behind it can look back on a long tradition as a wine merchant. At the beginning of the 20th century, the company, led by Narcís Mascaró Marcé, one of the founder's sons, bought vineyards and installed a distillery. So everything from growing the grapes to bottling and selling was in the hands of the family. The special thing about the Mas Miguel winery is that it is one of the highest in the region. The climate there is colder and windier, so the grapes are protected from certain diseases and the use of pesticides can be reduced, which of course has a positive effect on the quality of the wine. A blend for success The special thing about each vermouth is the recipe, the ratio of bark, flowers and herbs. One ingredient that must always be used by law is a type of artemisia, the wormwood herb, which is also responsible for the distinctive taste. Extracts are obtained from all ingredients by soaking and steeping in water or alcohol; distilling these extracts is also a frequently used technique. The extracts obtained through distillation also have the advantage of raising the alcohol content to the required 15-16% vol. The trick is to find the perfect balance between wine and aromas, and to do this, the two can be stored in barrels for a few weeks. Surprising fruitiness The finished vermouth has a pleasant balance between sweetness, acidity and bitterness in the finish. The intense citrus aromas are striking, bringing a wonderful freshness and fruitiness to the spirit. In addition to the typical spicy aroma of vermouth, fruity accents of juniper and orange peel are noticeable.

Dolin Genepi Likör 1821 Brin 0,7L 40%
Dolin Genepi Liqueur 1821 Brin 0.7L 40% 1821 This year is also the birth year of the vermouth liqueur. Joseph Chavasse developed a new recipe in this year, which was based on a vermouth liqueur from the neighboring city of Turin. The recipe, which has remained unchanged for 200 years, is now experiencing a comeback! Génépi is a very popular herbal liqueur, particularly in the French and Italian Alps. It is based on plants belonging to the genus Artemisia. The best known of these are wormwood or mugwort. In the most distant sense, Dolin Génépi is also seen as a vermouth liqueur or even as absinthe. However, there is a clear difference to absinthe: Génépi is NOT distilled, the herbs are simply macerated in alcohol and then seasoned with sugar. Alpine wormwood liqueur - Liqueur 1821 Brin In the glass it has a wonderfully delicate green color with golden reflections. A strong aroma with notes of mugwort reaches the nose when you open the bottle. On the palate, the Génépi Liqueur 1821 Brin is full of finesse and very well balanced. You should always keep a Génépi well chilled in the freezer so that you can enjoy it at any time. A little insider tip: For a special kind of dessert, simply pour some of the liqueur over vanilla, mint or chocolate ice cream and enjoy!

Aperol Spritz Set (Aperol 1.0L + Cinzano Prosecco 0.75L) 11% Davide Campari Milano Aperol has been around since the beginning of the 20th century. Back then, the brothers developed the aperitif especially for the international trade fair in Padua and the name is based on the French word 'aperitif'. Aperol is an Italian liqueur that can best be described as having a fruity, bitter taste. Herbs used in the liqueur include bitter orange, yellow gentian and cinchona bark. It is mostly used in cocktails, but can also be served as an aperitif. The most well-known cocktail with Aperol is probably the 'Aperol Spritz', but there are many other variations that are worth trying. An example: Caipirol – is a type of Caipirinha, only instead of the usual Cachaca Aperol is used: 8cl Aperol 3cl lime juice 1 lime, cut into eighths 2 tbsp brown cane sugar Crush the lime pieces together with the brown sugar in a glass. Fill the glass with crushed ice. Then add the Aperol & lime juice. If you like, you can make everything a little more fizzy with soda water. Mix with a bar spoon and enjoy! Our set, however, is really best suited for the well-known Aperol Spitz, because in addition to the 1 liter bottle of Aperol you get a bottle of the equally well-known Prosecco Cinzano!

Dolin Coeur de Genepi Likör 0,5L 50%
Dolin Coeur de Genepi Liqueur 0,5L 50%
Dolin Coeur de Genepi Liqueur 0.5L 50% Original recipe unchanged for 200 years Genepi is translated into German as a name for various plant species, but is often also just used as a name for mugwort, or is also often used as a name for a traditional Alpine liqueur. A specially composed Alpine herb mixture is used for the Dolin Coeur de Genepi liqueur. This is then macerated for several weeks in the base alcohol and is then NOT distilled, unlike absinthe and the like. The Alpine liqueur is particularly popular and well-known in the French and Italian Alps. The Dolin Genepi comes from the French part of the Alps. The aroma is a wonderful combination of floral and herbaceous notes combined in a creamy liqueur. To intensify the taste even further, you will find a branch of the spiked rue, which is very well known in the Alps, in the bottle. To enjoy the full aroma, you should serve the Genepi liqueur on ice. This way you can discover the herbal aromas paired with subtle vanilla and the association of cut grass.
