The history of DSM

DSM is a young spirits company from Berlin, which was only founded in 2017. Behind the factory are the founders Tim Müller and Konrad Horn, who fulfilled a dream in 2017 after years of preparation and development. In the first few years after their founding, they were quickly able to establish themselves beyond national borders and won gold in the DLG quality test with more than a dozen products.

Apothekers London Dry Gin

Apothekers London Dry Gin is a top product from DMS. It contains up to three dozen different botanicals that are wonderfully coordinated with one another. The focus, however, is primarily on the juniper aroma. This is followed by notes of coriander and fresh citrus aromas. A certain spiciness comes from notes of coriander and pepper. The aroma is rounded off by other finely balanced herbal aromas such as cinnamon, nutmeg or camomile, which introduce the long-lasting finish. There are other surprising aromas waiting to be discovered. Among other things, subtle notes of lavender and thyme can be detected here.

Franconia Dry Gin Dandelion Dust (BIO) 0.5L 44% Together with his gin enthusiast colleague Dr. Jörg Geier, Mathias Gerstner decided in January 2018 to create the Franconia Dry Gin Dandelion Dust - a handmade gin with many regional botanicals. Equipped with 22 organic botanicals from the region, the macerate is gently distilled in small batches in a wood-fired copper still. In order to obtain the full aromas, many spices are processed by hand in a mortar before the botanicals are put together. This process brings out 100% of the subtle notes of star anise and fine juniper. Shortly before the distillation process, organic orange and lemon peel are added to refine and enrich the aroma. The handcrafted gin then matures for several months in earthenware barrels before being bottled in its distinctive bottle. This Franconia Dry Gin Dandelion Dust 0.5L 44% received the gold medal at the Frankfurt International Spirit Trophy.
