This gin produced on the Shetland Islands is refreshing and highly aromatic and has a slightly greenish color caused by the addition of violets and turmeric. Many plants native to the Shetland Islands such as angelica, wild water mint, sand carnation and meadowsweet have been combined with the classic gin flavorings such as juniper berries and coriander.

Blackwoods Vintage Dry Gin also has a light salty note that tickles the palate elegantly. With a typical gin smell, this gin impresses with its pleasant sweetness, subtle juniper aroma and elegant purity that seems to be due to the pure spring water used.
