On the nose, the genever is fruity and fresh, characterized by spicy aromas as well as notes of honey and citrus fruits, complemented by subtle floral nuances. With some time in the glass, additional notes of vanilla, honey, and green apple emerge. On the palate, the Zuidam Rogge Genever 2018/2023 Oloroso Moscatel Finish presents itself as complex, with elegant fruity and floral aromas reminiscent of summer orchards with green apples and pears. These are followed by nuances of orange and refined vanilla notes. The finish is medium-long, smooth, and accompanied by green apples, lemon, and honey.
