Tomintoul Distillery
The whisky distillery from Scotland is based in the village of the same name, 'Tomintoul', which is the highest village in the country. The brand is a merger of the two whisky traders W&S Strong & Co and Hay &HacLeod& Co and was founded in 1964. The distillery was built in 1965. There have been many changes of ownership over the years; today the distillery belongs to Whsyte&Mackay.
Seiridh Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish
The first maturation phase takes place in ex-bourbon barrels, the second in Oloroso Sherry Butts. These give the whisky its slightly nutty but above all very fruity-sweet taste.
With only 6,000 bottles worldwide, the Seiridh is a limited edition.

Tomintoul Tundra Bourbon Cask Speyside Single Malt Whisky 1.0L 40% Tomintoul Distillery In 1965, the Tomintoul Distillery was built in the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands. The Tundra Bourbon Cask Single Malt was developed based on the extraordinary surroundings in which the distillery was built. Outside of the Arctic, the Cairngorms National Park is one of the few places where tundra areas exist. The very cold and stormy winters with double-digit minus temperatures ensure that in summer there is even more vibrant life in the higher elevations. These contrasts are reflected in the Tundra Bourbon Cask.
Tomintoul Tarn Peated Speyside Single Malt Whisky 1.0L 40% Highland Whisky The Tomintoul distillery was founded in 1964 in the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland by W & S Strong and Hay & MacLeod. It is named after the nearby, highest town of the same name, Tomintoul. After being sold to White & Mackay in 1973, the distillery was expanded from one to two stills. Today the distillery belongs to Angus Dundee Distillers. Tarn Tomintoul whisky is characterized by its special altitude and the fresh spring water used in its production. This spring water comes from very special 'collection basins'. Due to ongoing glacier movements in the mountains of the Cairngorms, new, small mountain lakes are constantly being created that serve as reservoirs for the spring water. These basins are called 'Tjorn' in Old Norse, from which the name Tarns derives. The area surrounding the Tarns also has a particular influence on the taste of the Tomintoul Tarn Peated Speyside Single Malt. Most of these reservoirs are surrounded by centuries-old peat, which naturally leaves its taste traces in the water. The taste is full-bodied, pleasantly sweet whisky with clear peat notes. Fruity undertones accompanied by gentle vanilla round off the fantastic taste.
