Teeling Irish 13 years Single Grain Whiskey is a masterpiece from the Teeling Whiskey Distillery in Dublin, which is given a unique personality by its triple distillation and the use of mash that is predominantly made from corn. After an initial maturation period of 9 years in ex-bourbon barrels, this outstanding Irish Single Grain Whiskey is refined for a further 4 years in ex-Bordeaux red wine barrels before being bottled at a powerful 50% ABV.

Notes of rose water, ripe cherries, cinnamon and red fruits unfold on the nose. The palate is pampered with aromas of summer fruits, berry jam, vanilla cream and orchard fruits with notes of honey. The finish is characterized by spice, dry tannins, toasted oak and persistent warm wood notes. Teeling Irish 13 Years Single Grain Whiskey offers a complex and balanced taste experience for discerning whiskey lovers.

Teeling Irish Whiskey, 0.7L 46% The neighboring island When you think of whisky, you immediately think of Scotland with its enormous variety of whiskies from a wide variety of regions with a wide variety of characteristics. But the small neighboring island of the United Kingdom to the west can also look back on a long and, above all, very tasty tradition of distilling whisky. We are of course talking about Ireland, the island that is known throughout the world mainly for its dark and delicious stout beer. The epicenter of distilleries during the 19th century was the capital Dublin, where at its peak there were an impressive number of 37 distilleries in and around the starting core. Persistent through the centuries Of these many distilleries, the Teeling distillery in the heart of Dublin has fortunately survived over time. It was founded in 1782 by Walter Teeling, who took up the long family tradition of distilling and decided to approach the production of whisky professionally, putting all his skills and commitment into his own distillery. He was rewarded for his efforts, because to this day the family-run distillery is successful and reliably produces wonderful spirits. Just like this whisky, whose special feature is the various barrels in which it was stored over the years after distillation. The master distiller opted for old wine barrels in which sherry, port, Madeira, Pinot Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon were stored. Outstanding mildness The Teeling Single Malt is a classic example of Irish whiskeys with a wonderful mildness that comes from the rum barrels and rewards the spirit with many spicy aromas. Sweetness and fruitiness remain in the background, but are complemented by gentle notes of vanilla and spices with light, sweet notes of rum.

Teeling Irish Whisky 30 Jahre Vintage Reserve Collection 0,7L 46%
Teeling Irish Whisky 30 Years Vintage Reserve Collection 0.7L 46% Vintage Reserve Series As part of the 'Vintage Reserve' series, Teeling is now releasing a 30 Yo whisky again after 2018. All whiskies in this series were distilled in 1991 and released in different years. There is already a young 21Yo, the slightly older brother with 24 Yo, the 28 Yo and now the proud 30 Yo. All three previous vintages matured in a similar way to the 30 Yo, first in Bourbon casks before being finished in Sauternes barrels. This finish has also been increased in each of the different vintages: for the 21-year-olds, the Sauternes maturation time was just over 1 year, for the 24-year-old it was already 3 years and for the 23-year-old it was an impressive 8 years. With the 30 Years Old, this maturation period was topped again and is now an impressive 9 years! It is bottled with a pleasant alcohol content of 46% vol. and this time a good 4,000 bottles are available as a limited edition. Tasting Notes The nose initially reveals surprisingly fresh notes of fruit, roasted nuts and a hint of dark chocolate. The palate reveals a very soft and complex whisky: notes of fruity apricot, peach and a hint of citrus. Fine smoky notes and the aroma of oak underline the fruity components. The finish is long-lasting and underlined by fruit notes and a finely balanced mixture of spicy oak and sea breeze.
