Gammel Dansk 0.7L 38% Gammel Dansk - in English 'Old Dane' is a bitters created in 1964 by JK Asmund. Originally produced in the De Danske Spritfabrikker, after many changes of ownership it is now produced by the Norwegian Arcus Group. Among the 29 different herbs, fruits and spices listed are said to be wild orange or angelica, but also star anise, ginger or liquorice.
