Greenalls London Dry Gin, 1 L, 40%
Greenalls London Dry Gin, 1 L, 40%
The label of Greenalls London Dry Gin tempts with the year 1761 as the year the brand was founded. It is no coincidence that Bombay London Dry Gin (white label, 40% vol.) also bears the same year.
Until 1980, both brands contained the same contents in different packaging. Since 1980, the two brands have differed in that Greenalls London Dry Gin is distilled in traditional pot stills and Bombay London Dry Gin in a Carter Head still.
The recipe is still identical, but the different distillation methods result in different aromas. In comparison, Bombay Sapphire London Dry Gin only contains 2 additional botanicals. Greenalls London Dry Gin - a gin that is relatively unknown and, above all, misunderstood in this country.
