Sherry Cask limited Edition The basic distillate for this blended rum is the same, but after distillation and an initial maturation of 4 years in oak barrels, it is transferred to four different sherry barrels (Pedro Ximenez, Cream, Palo Cortado and Fino). The Don Papa rum is stored there for a further 18 months, until they are reunited and finally bottled. During this time and through the selection of the different types of barrels, the rum was able to develop a very fruity, sweet bouquet.
