The entire production process, including fermentation and distillation in column and pot style, is carefully monitored. The distillate matures for at least 4 years in oak barrels before being bottled at 41% vol. This Chamarel VSOP is an outstanding, harmonious rum with a golden color. The nose is characterized by dominant notes of dried and exotic fruits, lightly toasted oak and ripe sugar cane. Aromas of vanilla, caramel and light spicy and fruity notes complete the bouquet.
